The Latest OverDrive July 2010 issue has a comparo b/w P150/GS/Hunk/Dazzler/FZ

And verdict: GS best among Hunk/Dazzler/P150 for commuter-comfort use &

FZ better than RTR for sportive-commuter use...

And shockingly Dazzler has the worst Overall kmpl: 45
ANd the slowest in performance among all bikes...

Engine quality is not as refined as CB Unicorn (infact GS/FZ along with even Hunk share honours here)

It also has the worst braking distance (I am hopeful it is a misprint)
and comfort is just better than RTR/FZ

Infact looking at it Dazzler seems to be master of one....

Its upto you to believe it as other mags seem to have praised Dazzler...
Hunk's engine refinement better than Dazzler..? Yo kidding me...? My freind owns a Hunk and he was cursing his bike for the vibes after riding mine...

Worst Braking distance...? ... Common... I was driving my Dazzler today at 85kmph, and suddenly Mr. Brake Inspector( Damn Buffalo ) stood my way just about 15-20 ft away... Applied both brakes and stopped just a foot away from it... Though my rear wheel got locked, I was safe and now M extremely confident bout my bike's braking...

I would addvice only one thing... Don listen to other's reviews... Test ride it thoroughly and decide... Cheers

Different magazines, different reviews. Bike India July issue report is quite opposite to Overdrive's. As per Bike India, Dazzler and RTR 160 hit the same top speed of 118kmph where Dazzler remains more stress free unlike RTR which has lots of vibrations. Dazzler's braking has been reported best among RTR, FZ, Dazzler with 17 metres taking 2.53 seconds (60 - 0 kmph). Handling is better than Unicorn and peg scrapping is a piece of cake with best ride quality. Overall fuel efficiency is 55 kmpl. Again, these are from the Bike mag and not my views as I haven't ridden the bike, but I would like to believe the Bike magazine against Overdrive!

                  Jumble-Mumble between Carb. & FI...

This is a deviation from main article, but its worth to take a glance.

FI is advance step in technology (& it is), then why did Bajaj removed it from its flagship P220? And after elimination of FI, they got, Better speed and lesser cost (Around 15 k less!!!)

FI is technology needed for accurate (not need to better) quantity of fuel to be injected in engine cylinders. Need of FI is more in larger capacity engines which have multi cylinder formats. As carb has its own mechanical limitation to "spray" ACCURATE quantity of fuel per cycle, the need arises for electronic system aka FI.

In bikes, specially smaller capacity 150 cc or 180 cc engines, the work of fuel injection can satisfactory done by carb, as efficiency of fuel injection surpasses its mechanical limitation. So there is not really need of FI. Also increased fuel efficiency due to FI is nill by higher costs of FI models.

As we moves from smaller engines to bigger one, need for FI system arises sharper.
