By the test ride of wego , we were really impressed by this machine ( i was mighty impressed by the smoothness and noiseless engine , since i own an RTR160 refresh RD , i m used to vibes and rough engine).. but i wanted actual ownership reviews ..
Lately i am seeing a lot of Wegos on road. Looks like the scooter is getting it's due attention. But i am not aware of the actual fuel efficiency of the scooter. That's the only thing you need to look out for (ask the owners on-road) otherwise the scooter should be good.

        Hi bro
one of my friend has recently taken a white Wego and he has done ~650Kms
Regarding looks, it looks good and refreshing
i had a test ride(my friend was pillion), somehow i felt this scooter lacks the pull
i have a 2004 activa and I feel the acceleration of activa is much better than Wego (may be its just with that particular one)
i would suggest you to test ride other scooters too

Here is my review on TVS Wego.

                Pros:

                Good pickup & Pulling power.
Good Mileage(44-45KMPL with maximum speed of 50-55KMPH)
Good Shock absorbers on big speed breakers , but not so good at small holes or hurdles in road.
Easy fuel filling. No need to lift the seat.
                Light center stand.
                Under seat storage is useful.
Good height because of the larger wheels.
No waiting period. Booked on Saturday & got the vehicle on Monday evening.

                Cons :

Front shock absorbers could have been heavy & better.
Front glove box is useless. Would suggest to buy without the front glovebox & instead fix a basket in the front.
Brakes could have been better. Front disk brake option should be provided as in Honda Aviator.

                Overall I felt it's a good buy .

                      WeGo ,Excellent

Just bought a Wego this monday.Have done only 50 kms.I like the bike for its riding quality and acceleration.I was having an Activa earlier.Wego is superior to that on these counts. On reliability , I based my decision on my son's Apache 160 which has done 24K kms in 4 years without any problem.I also like the Wego ezee centre stand ; it is a breeze. Some sore points though; rear view mirrors are crap, both having dings and images are distorted. Hope to get them replaced under warranty.Paint quality could be better. Overall a good bike , but TVS and their dealers have to be more sensitive to small issues to beat Japs. After all, in management parlance" big things take care of themselves, it is the small things which need more attention".
