  • Hello Vrrooommers! (:

    Hi all,

This is Vinay from Chennai. Been a silent member on xBhp for a year or two now and finally took the pledge of being part of the community and taking biking, a way of life! I'd classify myself as an armateur in biking, but willing to learn more on the run. I have been riding bikes/scooters since early 1998 starting my dad's classic API Lamby Scooter (1998-2000), Kinetic Honda (2003-2003), followed by TVS Victor variants (2003-2007). I pursued my masters in UK and eventually worked there couple of years where I owned a Aprilla RS125 & a Derbi GPR 125R.

I only knew biking was more than just two wheeler, when I went through the basic tests/exams to get hold of Learners License there and eventually riding the stunning Aprilla & Derbi. Getting a full licence is tough, quiet tougher than getting one for Car or Flight I suppose

I moved back to India, couple of months ago and have enjoyed every discussion on xBHP. Glad to be part of this bikers for life group, hoping to meet fellow xBhp'ians soon in G2G meetups. I'm looking forward to owning my new motorbike soon, posted a query in 'What To?' section 2 days ago, not sure when the thread will be approved (any idea?). Would appreciate if you can recommend me one when the thread goes live, currently in dilema between R15 vs FZ16 (I do know they are two different entities) and would like to know any better bikes with similar configuration.

    Cheers,
    Vinay

Really? Sounds interesting. Looking forward to hear the stories on this as well as your experiences with RSV's.

        Welcome to the jungle

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.
