  • vintage biker says hello to all

    Hello All .

Thank god , I got registered on this site , had a tough time on teamBHP. Anyways I am a 30 year old guy , totally in love with my Yamaha RXZ 98 model(blue). Off late I have had many offers , to sell it , but I did not give in to the temptation. This oct 10th , I am gonna give it to a local mechanic for an overhaul (paint+engine)....if there is anything particular I need to pay attention to please lemme know .

    Thanks
    Minimal

Welcome aboard, you've got one of the most interesting bikes from the two stroke era and so happy to hear that you dint sell it cause you would have regretted a lot. Anyways, see to it that you give your bike to a proper 2 stroke mechanic and not to the usual 4 stroke mechanics who just dont know how to do overhauling of a 2 st bike. And see to it that he doesn't change parts unnecessarily, from my experince and what i've heard from my old mechanic he says the parts which are in the market now is not good as the old ones. One more advice would be, try to be there when he does the job atleast visit him twice a day if it's going to be in the workshop for several days. Good Luck, keep updating and few pics plz for the moment
