  • A guy who will soon experience Middle aged crsis!!

    Hi!

My Name is Blaise Alphanso (really!!!)

Currently, I call Seawoods, Navi Mumbai home!

Very Very New to geared anything!! Used to Kinetics and Activa! Decided it was time for an upgrade! Saved some dough and bought an RTR 180.

Delivered exactly a week back from today! Already clocked a few kilometers. Got on the Sion Panvel yesterday! Also, experienced city traffic, last evening!!

Can't consider myself a "hardcore biker", but hoping to get there!!

I love to Read (Spent a lot of time on various posts to understand what should go in my intro and what shouldn't).
Used to be an avid swimmer (around 2 - 3 hrs a day)
    Love movies, mostly English though!
Enjoy channels like Discovery Science, Turbo.
Currently excited about my bike, if I could I would get into my house (Stay on the 3rd floor)!!!

Immediate Goals outside of the work arena:
    1. Buy good riding gear. (currently have only a helmet and gloves)
    2. Buy a good camera, probably a SLR.
    3. Ensure I am on a trip most of the weekends!!

I am very very reserved about my comments on people's actions, unless I know them well enough. So, if there aren't many posts from me, that is because I don't know the people and definitely not because I am snobbish/ wannabe/ etc. etc.

Yes, I am married. Yes, it was a love marriage.

Have been so detailed, because this is my attempt to know you guys better!

    Thats about it from me!

    Cheers!

    Blaise

                  welcome sir...

we all guys are like-minded here, consider biking as a religion and all bikers as brothers...

by the way apart from biking we both have one more thing in common...The Mango ! in our surnames...

                  Alphanso and "AM"bre !
A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

                    Thanks!!

@Noor: Tnx for the approval and the welcome!
@Garry_Menace & KwokFist: Tnx. Always new since the Apache RTR was launched, I would want to own one.
@darkknight & dineshsamtani: Missed the last Sunday's G2g. Bike wasn't yet registered. But definitely in the future, and with all gears I hope.
@P220_noob: Guess I will have to consult you once I reach there!!
@Drifty: Tried for the white. Settled for the Gray, and then realised, I preferred the Gray
@nin: Oh!! Not another Mango joke!!! Have heard that my entire life!! But it's nice to find another Mango!

Hey, it's Alphanso, and not Alphonso!!
                          I grew up in Chembur.
I was the exact opposite of your batch mate, Short and Lanky!

Yes, I am interested in Touring.
                          Waiting for 2 things:
                          1. My bike's registration and 1st service to be completed.
                          2. Getting used to riding for long hours!
