  • Introducing me and my zx6r!

    Hello xbhp,

I am a returning member, and its great to be back again

I live in Baltimore, M.D, but am thinking of moving back to india in the next couple of months. I owned a pulsar 180 about 6 years ago, and bought my first 600 last winters. I had to work extra hours, give up on having a car and go through immense financial stress but its totally worth every bit of it.

let me share with you some of the work that i'v done on the bike through these pics I clicked last week.
some of the modifications on it

    two brothers exhaust system
    power comander
complete carbon fiber side and lower fairings
    2ct Michelins
    pro tank grip
    5000k HID's
    frame sliders
    fender eliminator kit
    K&N filter

I also have a caged stunt bike ( 02 636) that I bought off ebay recently, me and my apt (the guy with the white CBR) share it, will post pics once we'r done making some changes to it.

I have better quality pics, but can't seem to get to upload them!

Welcome back! Bike looks tooooooooooo cool, but kindly load better pictures somehow. I loved the sentence "I had to work extra hours, give up on having a car and go through immense financial stress but its totally worth every bit of it". That's something a true biker does and I'm sure he wont regret it later if it is for something like this. It's a real beauty, some more details would be much appreciated . Ride safe

Uploaded some more pics, Hope you like them.

I would love to bring the bike over to India, but I am unsure of the formalities, and its hard to find relevant information online.

I qualify under the T.R scheme and since my family will ship household items, i'm not too worried about shipping, my only concerns are:

                  1. I have heard the bike cannot be more than 3 years old?
                  2. Needs Kmph speedo reading and not mph?
                  3. should i fit a stunt cage and mess with the carbon fiber, because i'm worried if i drop it, i wont find spares?
                  4. i wonder how much custom and registration i might have to pay? (so i start saving again!)
                  5. my family is holds diplomatic status, does that entitle me extra privileges?
                  6. any agents i can contact to get more information?

                  any help would be appreciated,

*I am almost done shifting the rear breaks to the handle bar and fitting a 12 o clock bar to the 636, once done, will post some wheelie pics of the stunt bike!

                    Hello Navjyot,

Nice looking ZX6R, I have an 09 ZX6R. Anyway to address your concern about shipping your bike to India, look up:

I tried to quickly search for US to India shipment but the links seem to broken and/or too old (early 2000s). If you can't find the relevant information on cost and paperwork, post on:
