    Arnab from kolkata...

    this is my very first thread in this forum. I would like to thank a lots of people in this forum regarding bike selection.....it was really awesome to have this type of genuine and honest reviews. it will definitely help the newbies like me...

    now my case...for the past two months I have been searching bikes in 150/180 segment....initially I was running a second hand hero honda hunk for 6 months till it started giving problem.....i sold it 4 days back at the price which i bought (37000)...2008 model(black). I was tilted towards honda or hero honda....frankly strictly against BAJAJ.....

    but my mindset completely changed when I came across the reviews of pulsar 180 UG4....thanks to soumen da and Bappaditya da from kolkata...who help[ed me a lot.....after a lot of confusion i booked pulsar 180 and may be today I will be getting it.....so,kindly suggest me the after sales treatment for my baby...what all to be taken care of and whAT TO DO OR NOT TO DO.....

    will give a review after some Kms...

        thank you very much.....

        i'm posting some of my pics....did some teflon polish which they said will resist the fade out due to rain or sun and in 18 months if any thing happens they will do it free of cost..apart from that 2 more polishing after 6 months will be done by them free of cost....the total cost of polish is 500 rupees

        so thats it for now....got my bike...

                Do follow the run-in process and take good care of your bike. It will give you what you need. Good choice. Maintain properly.
                Presence of MIND and self CONFIDENCE is the primary aspect You need to be on road, not what brand your riding gears are.
                If you lack these two then DONT

                  after 100 Km

                  Surely I will join G2G.....today i completed 100 KMs...so i would like to say some points regarding P180 UG4

                  1) very good riding comfort for tall persons
                  2) little difficult for twisting in traffics
                  3) initially braking was not good but day by day the power of rear brake is increasing ( no idea why?)
                  4) no problem for starting during morning (use choke)
                  5) never exceeded 4k rpm or max speed 45kmph
                  6) mileage yet to test but approx. my calculation says some 45+
                  7)gear bit hard during first start and run....after some 2/3 kms its ok.....
                  8) superb handling .....

                  next review will be after 500 Kms (first service and I'm going to dehradun/Himachal Pradesh for my M.tech Project....would give you a review in an around March...)
