  • Hello friends :) (PICS)

Got to know about this while browsing someone Facebook account and thought I would just join to see how its going and help if I can any way like bikes/gears/cornering etc.
I live in Melbourne, Australia and have been here from past 4 years....started with bikes with CD100, CD100SS, Splendor, Pulsar 150, 220(Lucknow, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai) and then CBR600RR K3, and now on S1000RR 2011
For my riding its been mainly on local tracks in past few months but have good street experience and roadcraft. Roadcraft is bit different here as drivers here just dont expect bikes...:P
Have a good company or track and road riders so getting the feed is easy...
    Now the picture time...
2 days after i picked my last bike (chicken strips are strong..hmm)

    Welcome to xBhp, WarpSpeed.

CD100 to S1000RR - Thats pretty impressive evolution story of you as a biker ;-)

and that paint scheme looks sexy on the S1000RR

            Thanks @Sid85 @daredemon

@daredemon Not being biased but I loved each one of it I have owned. Missing anyone and coming straight to anyone in the middle would have felt like missing the childhood. all of them had some sweet memory attached to them....Me learning on CD and then buying my own first bike (Pulsars)
CD and Pulsars were used to commute rain/hail or shine..and some long trips as well around Pune/Mumbai... (usual places if you are from these cities)
CBR was where some different kind of riding started and it made me realized how less I knew about bikes or cornering. Started being mechanical from this point as well as I was getting heaps of interest in tyres/maintenance and tracks...
CBR600RR is an awesome bike... had its own advantages compared to litre bikes but almost no low rev torque. Changed front sprocket on it and it felt better in city and drive out of the corners... light and nimble and enough to kill you if you dont respect your right hand. more forgiving than 1000s but lethal if you are new to it and doesnt know how to corner sports ... Once you move to sports, you will love it... (-the commute as they aren't designed for them )
in saying that; I would ride anything on 2 wheels....

@Warpspeed - A very warm welcome here buddy, You have got one of the meanest bikes with you and the yellow looks awesome. Any special reason why you didn't opt for the conventional white-blue combination. And I am jealous that you guys have got a local track, here you know we have to travel down to south for a track-day. Applause for your evolution from CD100 to BMW S1000RR ... and her ZERO (0) makes all the difference
Hope to see you more often here and sharing your knowledge with us all

welcome to the world of xbhp, get ready for a hell of a journey.
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
                  #overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

                    2 main reasons Prateek:
MotorSport scheme is 800$ extra .. I thought I could invest that in 5 track days or 1.5 California SBK school levels... Couldn't justify 800$ extra for paint scheme as I would never get 800$ if I sell it just for special paint.
Yellow looked awesome in person and still does :P
