  • A newbie biking couple from Delhi

    Hi All,

This would officially be my first post at xBhp. Allow me to introduce myself, errr. correction - ourselves.

Aarti & I (Harsh) have been a traveling couple for about 5 years now. With car touring and trekking being covered so far we finally decided to take a plunge and explore motor-biking as a touring option last year. We eventually managed to do Ladakh on our 2011 model Enfeild - Classic 500.

Traveling has become quite a passion, especially road-trips and trekking for us. And biking is increasingly becoming a more frequent option with a really enjoyable ride to Ladakh. Hence the decision to join xBhp and learn more from the experienced community here.

    On a boring note:
Professionaly I'm a tech entrepreneur with a 7 year old company now in the field of Mechanical Engineering. The office is located at Noida.

While my better half works with a UN organization as a consultant in the development sector.

Attached is the picture of our bike which we lovingly call WanderB.
And an image of the two of us.

Nice! Bhelcome to xBhp as well, Harsh and Aarti! And I thought this year too, you went on the Kiyang, not on the 500. Nonetheless, a good surprise for me. Looking forward to the log

Kudos, you recognized the location! The lake was hardly visible. There are a couple of trekking stories which happened before I became online on forums. Have not got on a trek since Oct. 2009!

Well we typically travel together taking the onus of driving together. Although so far I've done biking by myself but she learning that too might be split. Who knows.

Thanks Prateek. So far Aarti has been a pillion, but trying to learn to ride the heavy bullet - even with a heavier pillion like me.
