  • First Ride : Hi All

    Hi All,

I am shailesh and live in Delhi.

I would like to mention that I was a silent viewer of Xbhp (near a year) till now.
To me xbhp is a repository of knowledge which helped a noob like me in every phase of what ever little biking experience I have today.(just ~9 months )

For me ultimate set of 2 wheels will remain a bicycle, but who doesn't like little power.

    Regards,
    Shailesh

    Hi Shailesh

    Welcome to xBhp.

There are some xBhpians (me included) who enjoy the engineless two wheelers as well.

    Cheers
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Actually I dont have any, but a story.

As a kid I started on Hero jet (if any one remember its advertisements) and used two such bicycles by the time I completed my schooling.

Then I got a second hand mountain bike at throw away price(from a US citizen in delhi, brand was some Rand I still don't have much info about it).
I had 18 (6* 3 ) speed shiftings, was light weight, with tires which would offer good grip even on sand.
I rode it a lot.. hell lot (never on mountains though). it remained with me for ~7 years (meanwhile I passed phases like graduation, post graduation ).
But the maintenance became difficult day by day, I tried my best with what ever little knowledge and resources I had during this time.
its everything got replaced gradually with substandard and low cost parts, and I even managed to put mud guards on that.
Then came a time when I had to leave delhi for couple of years (and I didn't visit home in this period), leaving it behind. It got wasted, by the time I came back I couldn't even find its scrap.
(parents threw it away for free to make some space at home) ... I take care of my things but am not that possessive...

I do have plans for a new bike, but no time.

        Thanks everyone
