        Frnds,

Today I TD the new Honda-trigger base model(disk break in front only),I really like it, I don't know more about the technical words(like bhp, torque etc)
I like the power that small engine delivered..
The breaking is good and road grip too
        my concerns,or my feelings
        comparing UNICORN
        The wheel base is less,
Tyre size is also less,Is it reduce the breaking efficiency?
Normally I use both breaks for stopping bikes, Is there any advantage for com bi-break system?(I think there is diff of 9k between com bi model and without com bi)
Shall I wait for some days to book the vehicle?(After reading more reviews and experience from others)
I really need a trouble free bike at least for 3-5 years or 30-50k km
        Expecting your valuable suggestions?

Remember, your priority is comfort ............. and trigger or Unicorn have the upright sitting position and hence they both are good

there is just slight tweak in the specs and added electricals+console in Trigger over the Unicorn ............. but then Trigger has CBS braking system which is good to go for and you may count it as one important feature (no other Indian 150 cc bike has it till today) ......... since you are a modest rider you will be commuting at very sane speeds and so tire grip in cornering is not at all a concern for you

Having a smaller wheel base helps in shorter turning radius, bus as I said you be driving sanely these things will be of not much importance as per your riding practice. I have already given a brief comment on brakes above.

Using both brakes prove that you have a maturity in your riding practice ......... it is indeed a good and recommended way of stopping the bike ........... Combi brakes will ensure that by only pressing the brake paddle you will regulate braking action at both the wheels in a ratio as set by the OEM ........... if you have a practice of using both brakes CBS is certainly not an immediate need for you. If I have to offer a suggestion at this point to you looking at your patience-full driving habit I think both of your wheels deserve a Disc brake.

That depends upon your urgency and patience ................ it is after all a personal choice ............. but with Honda you have every right to go and grab your bike but they are counted among the most quality conscious OEM (s) present in India .............. Unicorn has proven its worth as the most fuel efficient and sane 150 cc bike in India ......... with Trigger they have added goodies which were missing in a perfect 150 cc commuter ............... under the skin they have same engine, same gearbox but on the skin they do look different and have different options.

Since you have come across many issues related to TB, you can surely look to these with a confidence of quality and furthermore these vehicles will have a lesser body weight and so will be way too easy to maneuver in traffic than a TB. Good Luck and please keep us posted as you have been religiously doing when you finalize and get one

Re: Hi I am Rajesh From Kottayam

            Thank you friend,
            I really like it,

Do you TD Trigger? What about the new digital console..?
I found the position of choke placed near to the odo meter not good and there is no engine off switch,
I heard the Honda dazzler is not a good bike and the production is stopped-with same engine and gearbox-so I decide to wait for some days to book my vehicle..
Can I use wider tyre in the back (like yamaha FZ/Avenger) for more road grip using the same alloy wheel?
Is there any solution to increase the head light power without altering the electrical system?

            Thank's in advance..

Actually I am way too happy driving my stunner and is in no mood to change it until I save enough to get one SBK ......... and so I am no more taking the TD(s). The digital console is a welcome change ........ You may come across people saying that they find readability of a console in day/night as whatever ......... I think for sane riders like us it is not a place to stare at all the time ....... instead of staring at the console I would prefer to concentrate on the road to have a safe and happy riding experience. I only love to look at my console when I am about to start a tour/fuel check/kms done for chain cleaning etc and etc .............. therefore I really don't count it as a huge parameter take a look at the pics below ....... I think the instrument cluster is nice and trendy looking and good in both day and night

Having choke near the odo is the perfect idea and very ergonomic to use ............. I too have it in the same place in my Stunner................ Engine kill switch has been missing in almost all the Honda Bikes in India including the CBR 250 ........ so you have to bear with this stupidity of OEM

Dazzler was a nice bike but it was placed/presented in a wrong way in a very very aggressive market ............. they had used the fuel efficient and humble Unicorn engine as it is in Dazzler without any power tweaking while they had designed it to attract Youth ........... and this made the recipe to go wrong ........A youth will always demand a bike with looks and power (more or atleast equal to competition available) ........... on the other hand Unicorn has been the favorite among the sane riders for its modest design, super fine engine, just necessary power and long to last quality

On a contrast to this Honda was wise enough in case of Honda Shine and Honda Stunner ......... they have same engine but different power output, riding position, gearbox etc

If I have to offer you a clean suggestion, please avoid modification to your bike as much as possible ............. it will then live longer and perform all the same for years and years to come.............there are many mods availble out there to try out if you are so dead serious about changing something......... but mark a point YOU SHOULDN'T TAMPER THE WARRANTY UNTIL IT'S OVER TO HAVE A BETTER RUN OF YOUR BIKE

Keep smiling and go ahead ......... Honda is a good and quality OEM ......... you will be only unlucky if something uncertain occurs to your bike anyday

              ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

Ok ...... there is one very very critical point left to be discussed, but I think we should discuss it only after you zero-in on a bike .............. please keep updating the thread when you are done with all your findings and then we can discuss that last but really important point

              Warm Regards,
