  • Hello, Padawans!

    Hey!

I've been off and on on xbhp via Google for a while now. I figured it's time to make and account and contribute back.

A bit about me - I've been studying abroad for almost 5 years, I'm back in India for a few months now. I've been renting motorcycles for a while now: Honda CBR 250R (Most commonly), Yamaha R6 (In months I felt awfully rich), Kawasaki Ninja 250 (If and when it became available). Off those CBR has been my staple ride for the last year. I've attended motorcycle schools in Qatar and Philippines.

As my commuting needs with the lady became a pain in last few months, I bought a CBF 125 (For some reason called Stunner here - I've never seen Honda use cheezy names anywhere!) as I trust Honda and CBF is very well respected line of motorcycles. It's serving me well for last 2 months with around 2K miles on the clock! I thought of buying a Pulsar initially because everyone around me seemed like a fan but was put off by too many broken down Pulsars I see on roads everyday (a bit odd, right?) and because it felt a little weird to ride (probably cause it was the first bike without fairing that I had ridden, not because something was wrong with the bike).

    Thanks for reading!

              Re: Hello, Padawans!

              Thanks, everyone!

I'm trying to settle in to the riding style here, with my patience and low speed maneuvering skills tested over and over again. :P On that, I think CBF125 is incredibly short geared and I'm almost certain it has nothing to do with it being just 125cc. But then it's not meant to be a freeway bike and I guess it helps in traffic around me!

              I appreciate your comments!
