  • Currently TVS Shogun

    Hi Everybody,

Its my pleasure to be here:

I first rode a bike when i was in the 7th standard - BSA 350; since then theres no turning back, im 29 today.

Currently i am on a personal project working to bring my TVS Shogun back to stock, later Id love to take on the Baby Jawa and the Pearl Yamaha; dad has a Tiger, and yes, nevertheless i dream on it i have to finish my 3 projects to create positive MOT.

I work as a Trainer in Hyderabad and for me taking a chill-pill means take a ride

    Regards,
    Mike

Dude, it was made at the time when it was Suzuki Shogn. And thats exactly how it is written on the bike, its manual, etc! Kinetic Honda no longer has Honda colloboration... so should we now call the scoot just Kinetic???

Mike, whats keeping the bike looking like stock is a fairing. But I suppose its v difficult to get one now??

TVS themselves were selling panels, cases, tanks of the Shogun/samurai with the TVS logo. It was later named as TVS shogun, although when TVS broke-up with suzuki in 2001 the shogun was no longer in production.
In the racing scene, shogun and shaolin are prefixed as TVS and not Suzuki. Anyways, you can call it whatever you want

I have heard that Shogun was 100% Indian (TVS) product as opposed to the Samurai which came with a Japanese design. Basically it does not matter what you call it, Suzuki or TVS. A 'gun is a 'gun!
