TVS is indeed an all Indian bike. No Suzuki tech involved. It was developed in-house at Hosur. The japanese developed engines were the original AX-100 and the Fiero. Rest are all Indian clones of the original by TVS.

Mike, whats keeping the bike looking like stock is a fairing. But I suppose its v difficult to get one now??

U can fix Victor's fairing on the gun??

Very recently, someone has broken my gun's fairing. Broken in the sense that the leftmost screw hole of the top dark transparent part has been broken. So the leftmost corner no longer mates with the bottom black fiberglass part of the fairing. And that looks BAD!

Any suggestions on what can be done? I don't imagine one can get new fairing for the gun now... or do we?

Why dont you just use the round samurai headlight instead. Does not look too bad. See my 'gun below.

^^^ your bike looks good there... at least looks natural...

The Victor's fairing would be a real yuck and a disgrace to the Gun. It hardly looks OK even on the Victor!!!

I am not sure how a Victor fairing fits on a 'gun. The headlights are totally different. The need for the fairing on the 'gun was to make it aerodynamic. It is not only hard to get but it is much harder to maintain. The round samurai headlight gives a better light and has a better reflector. It is a bolt on fit on the "Stay Comp" too.

I guess... don't exactly recall how its fairing looks.... but the whole bike (Victor) looks yuck!

Why harder to maintain? Well, mine has been good for a decade or so... ever since i bought the bike.

Frankly I don't much like the Samurai headlight either. Tho I guess it does give a better beam... like you say. I'v kept everything on my gun absolutely stock. So 1st preference would be to get a fairing that looks at least fairly the same. Else maybe I'll just unscrew the screws of the top transparent part... and just keep the lower fiber body. But I think thats not gonna look nice either.

Damn the person who broke it. Hope he gets run over by a gun going full blast...

                            stock......rather super stock.......
i have ridden it for quite some time now.......actually too long a time......so i am planning to mod it.....
i am 6'3"......so obviously its too small a bike for me.....
second i like to ride off-road.....

                            so i am planning of
                            i) raising the overall height......by a) fiero f2 extended front suspension with teh disc assembly
                            b) unicorn rear monoshok and swing arm

ARE THESE MODS FEASIBLE.........AND MORE IMPORTANT WORTH WHILE????

and as for guys who are not able to find stock parts...........get in touch with me......i have quite afew lying with me....especially the FAIRINGSSSSSS!

All these mods will seriously make the shogun look funny and also handle like crap. You are gonna be playing with the handling dynamics!
