The story of this bike is quite a filmy one indeed, brother goes out one fine day, asks my uncle if he can get a bike and then he brings home the 150. This bike is quite special indeed, reason being this was a bike he loved and this bike is the one on which my brother took bhabhi out on rides (before they tied the knot). He then bequeathed this bike onto me saying he wasn't able to ride it and the seats felt quite hard (they still are, honestly, had my butt had a mouth it would have told me to get a cushion). This saga dates back 12 years ago and the bike came into my hands 4 years ago. I had been riding the humble tvs scooty, believe me i started off on a proper transition scale. Cycles -> moped -> bike and then back to the future, i decided, i had enough of driving the car always and needed to go out relax myself. Considering the traffic situation and demands at home, we planned and got ourselves a car and 2 years ago, i drove home the lovely car i now cherish even now. It does its duty perfectly. However, i was tired: tired because i just had one boring routine, tired because i couldn't go out and enjoy myself. I will never abandon the car, its more of "i need something to go out there and have fun".
"Practical, needs to be fuel efficient, needs to be comfortable and should be cheap". I looked at bikes here and there and after three months, i defied my own rules and rode home on an R3. The process of getting her home in itself was a long saga (she came home on 25th of November). A story for another time, maybe.
I reside in a city called chennai, which is currently being pummeled by the rains and someone's prayers for rain have been taken a bit too seriously. As for my name, people call me Rohit. Pleasure in joining you guys here on xbhp!
