Ok, You see, nobody taught me how to ride. About 10 years back one day I got up, went to the LML showroom and bought myself a LML energy. Over the next two years, while teaching my self the difference between the breaking and turning, crashed numorus times.
Crash count in the last 8 years : 8
The first two years: above 400.
make that a crash every two days.
As far as me stopping riding goes, Dude I have lost considerable amount of mobility in my right leg after I crashed my RD at 145 kph, even after that I kept riding. I would rather die a biker than live a pedestrian hanging from MTC buses.
A Hi-5 to that, Would not travel in DTC (Delhi Trans Corp) Buses even on Gun-Point.
Sometimes my friend, that passion will be all that will keep you going in life.
As for the luck part, I dont know I was unlucky to crash or lucky to survive
Sir Salute to your Courage and Passion for Biking, If at anytime you decide to visit the North, Do PM us and meet US!

Thank you. I appreciate the sentiment.
Same with MTC (actually I get scared when I see those things overloaded and tipping on one side with people hanging out of windows like chicken.)
You know some people have stated in the previous pages that people give up biking after they crash. I used to crash because I did not know how to do cretin things and what to do in cretin situations. Like I have said before, I broke a lot of things in body as well as my bikes. However, somehow it never came to mind to stop riding. Being truthful, the scariest moment during a crash is when you have lost control and falling to the ground. It would be hardly 2 seconds before you hit but those will be the longest two seconds of your life. Everything you ever did in your life will flash before your eyes. In those two seconds you know you about to get hurt pretty bad and scares the hell out of everybody. The people who stop riding after crashing do so because they want to avoid those two seconds. They want to avoid the pain.
My philosophy is every moment of pleasure in life must be paid for with equal moments of pain. If I fell down, it was for a reason, I learnt from it and tried never to do the same again. After each crash when I laid in bed, bruised and battered, I thought of nothing else but the moment when I'll back on my feet and the saddle of my steed.
