I have only just joined the group, but I have been to this website for quite some time. I'm really glad to be a member of this biking community now.
Well to say about myself, I hail from a small place called Wellington in The Nilgiris (its about 3 km from Coonoor on the way to Ooty).
Growing up in a place of refreshing climate and amazing picturesque beauty, I was always interested going out and enjoying nature at its best. I usually make small trips in and around Coonoor with friends exploring the dense forest and would ride as long as the road goes, and would head back home when its almost dark. I learnt my driving in my neighbour's Lambretta, then I started driving my uncle's Bajaj Cub. In 2003, I had to shift to Coimbatore for work and presently staying here in Coimbatore. Now, I am a proud owner of a 2006 Hero Honda Karizma. Though caught up at work, I usually go to Coonoor each weekend to visit my parents, and man, the ride up from Mettupalayam to Coonoor is just awesome and I literally love each hairpin bends. Each time I ride uphill, its like flowing with nature. Now, I've entirely shifted to Coimbatore 6 months back and here I'm much of a commuter. My trips mostly are in and around Coimbatore, Coonoor, and Ooty. I have also made 3 trips to Bangalore. Well thats about myself and my ride. Will post some pics soon. Happy riding.
