@kashmee - well i had it for about a month, before i dismantled it and set out to get parts for it. I took it for two rides, and the bike being 35+ years old, still braked well, and the suspension was in good condition.
I was able to max it to about 90-92 kmph in the first go ( no oil change, nothing )
A very simple engine, and a very simple bike to maintain.
Right now the bike is completely dismantled, and i have sourced nearly every spare part for it, except for the chassis and the swingarm. ( yes, nearly everything, you mention it, i have it!! ).
Just waiting to get over with the RXZ project, then ill be getting this back on the road soon.
A good bike for those who would like rugged two strokes, that basically last forever.
But do know that the riding position is quite cramped for riders above 5"7' or so.

Thats cool,
I always had a fascination about jawa as my dad had one before even i was born but the way he use to describe his experiences , i started loving it .... by the way i have seen a jawa in noida sec 62 which is lying almost in a scraped situation (rust all over and i am not sure even if the piston is also rusted ) do you think it will be a good idea to get it restored and keep it for weekend rides or will i be able to use it for day to day affair ?????
(Moderators : I am not sure if its the correct thread to discuss this,
if not please move it to where it belongs
