'R1'
Hope to see you next time round.
Hey, thanks manOriginally posted by dj_666 View PostThe last I remember singing the National Anthem was in school, I'm happy that the next time I sang it was with individuals who relate to it - individuals of free spirit.
The formation was a orchestrated by Sunil sir, Prajwal sir, Akhil sir and Keerthi sir - and to tell you the truth, my misconception of a the chaos involved in group riding was blasted. Gentleman bikers - all of you !
Special thanks to Keerthi sir for picking up the breakfast tab, Sunil sir, Shiv & Kiran for the flags, Remo, Saj & Sakthi for making sure the T-shirts were delivered without hassle and to everybody gathered for making the experience memorable.

I remember that G2G very very clearlyOriginally posted by strider View PostGuys had a fantastic ride with some memorable incidents...
Iam very attached to Kanva Dam, as this place was my first G2G with xBhp 3 years ago and the chance to sit on my then dream bike(Akhil's R1) and in the 2009 ID ride I was searching for an R1 and had promised myself that the 2010 ID ride will be on my R1..
Glad that this dream of mine has been fulfiled...a very emotional G2G for me riding my R1 to the place where to an extent it started...
Life indeed has come to a full circle...
Thankful to all the Bangalore members of xBhp to have stood by me during some real testing times..
Special Thanks to John(johnblr), Akhil(Rossiter),Pranay(pranay), nikhil(tibby), Sandeep sir(Old fox), whose encouraging words helped me in my R1 pursuit...
PS: Eric it was fun on the NICE road...
Special thanks to Vidyadhar, Niranjan and Mohsin for helping us in towing the R15
Your R1 looks great, and you guys look great together as well.

Better late than never!
Yet another memorable Independence Day Ride with xBhp.
It makes me proud to be associated with xBhp as we organise a ride every year to mark this historical day for our country, and see enthusiastic participation as well.
It was really nice to meet so many new members, some senior members for the first time, & some other senior members yet again!
Some of the senior members are quite busy during the year, & it takes a ride of this magnitude to compel them to take some time out from their schedules to meet & guide newer members.
A special thanks to Josh & Sakthi for arranging the T-shirts in such a short span of time, amidst all the confusion.
A special thanks to Remo as well, for the wonderful design for the T-shirt.
I liked the T-shirt so much & was wearing it throughout the day on Sunday, & a lot of people who I met, liked it too.
The turnout for the ride was really nice, but it was saddening to see more than half of last year's participants not around in this year's ride. I wonder what kept them away!
Hey! Did know this place has a nostalgic angle for to you.Originally posted by strider View PostGuys had a fantastic ride with some memorable incidents...

Really elated you made your dream come true this year, as promised.
Dude, how was the unplanned for pillion ride on the R1?Originally posted by ericin View PostThx, guys for a awesome ride. Met so many new and old friends and had fun
@ Strider ( Ajay ) : thx you so much. i will never forget that time on Nice Road
@ Akhil sir, John, Sunil and all of guys : thx again
m not sure for next I- Ride day, next year
but
i can sure i will never forget all of rides with xBhp and BB guys

& did your bike get fixed? What was the issue?
Nice to be on the same ride again, exactly a year later.Originally posted by rossiter View PostGreat ride guys. Formation was very disciplined even with 40+ bikes. Compare this to a G2G 2 years ago, where 20 bikers were all over the place. I think it's safe to say that offline meets/rides have become a lot more disciplined and mature.
Nice to meet old friends, make new ones, and do a bit for the nature as well. I was happy that we cleaned up that short 250 mts stretch in less than 5 minutes. Just goes to show what collectively all of us can do.
Thanks to everyone for the sakthi, saj, and josh for the shirts, hisunil for the flags, and of course John for being part of it till the last moment. I guess he did put in a lot of groundwork for this ride, despite being detained at the last minute.
Ride soon guys!
You really scared me in the morning, a few hundred metres before the meeting point.
Technically, it was your first & last Independece Day ride with us.Originally posted by mav1234 View PostNice to be with you All... Met many new faces today.. but overall the ride was awesome..
Hope to ride with you all once again in the coming times..

Few more months of freedom for you! Ride as much as you can.

Been silently looking at the pics and the videos for last couple of days.. Wonderful!
It was an exhibition of diciplined ride worthy of being called one of the best rides. Everyone put in their effort to make things go right making it truly a team effort. And as I was not clicking any pics this time you guys dont have to wait for me to post any
Thumbs up to all...

I sat pillion on n_aditya's Ninja 250R once near Krishnagiri, & we were doing 120-140kmph. It was bloody scary man. I can only imagine it on the R1, with much more quick pulling, & stopping of the bike. (I know you weren't accelerating too quick
)
PS: Love that grin of your's ^^^
Nice to know that. Lets see how much you put it into practice.Originally posted by mav1234 View PostNo man.. even after marriage i will be riding with you people....
Bhai mere pic to de do

I was down with flu last couple of days.
Just recovered.
Will send you the pics man, once you pay the royalty for the poser pic to Ajay (I hope photographer also gets a small share
) for posing on his bike.
