Thanks Rakesh.. It was good to see you too. The last time we met was during the visit to INS Vikrant, right?

Well like I wrote on FB, it was a wonderful start for a Sunday after a lot (for me). Meeting all the like minded people, a nice breakfast while it rained like crazy and a slow and steady, leisurely ride back home in even crazier rains. I wanted this sort of rain during our Talegaon ride last weekend.

I had electronically limited my bike's speed to 60 kmph both while coming from and returning to home cause I was supposed to guide Chirag who's bike is in running in stage. While returning home, I was doing the same thing but Chirag lost my track somewhere on the Makhurd by-pass road. I waited for him on easter express highway after taking the left turn at Ghatkopar. But he was no where to be seen. Saw a group of bikers including a GS taking right turn under the bridge and hence moved on.

Meet was great. Seniors didn't have to give any discourse on safety gear as almost everyone present there have bought the riding gear and agreed to wear them whenever possible. Those who haven't are saving for it. One line made it clear there that No riding Gears then PLEASE do not ride with xBhp as a group. It's not meant for insulting that particular rider but for his and the rest of the group's safety.

But looking at the rate with which Mumbai xBhp is expanding day by day, we should have such meets more often now. Not every week like Pune but at least once a month sounds good. And keeping it in the morning like today should help most of the riders. New locations should be found and kept rotating among them everytime but keeping it in centrally located area like Vashi/Navi Mumbai etc. If on a particular meet there's no new member to be introduced then we can share our recent experiences and what we learned through them. Am sure everyone has some or the other good/bad memories/experiences of their rides. So we can share them. New rides can be discussed during meets. Or if nothing, then even spending couple of hours with some like minded people is never boring in my books.

Anyway, So congrats to Chirag for his new bike and to Rakesh for his Swift. Keep rolling Now this junior most member lets the seniors do the talking

PS: Highlight of the day, Rakshas's surprise visit with his GF and Satyen's amazing Rain wear
                              Ketan Nikharge.
