thanks for reminding about the LED headlights, it is a point to be noted.

The last Stunt Mania has really triggered the younger bikers to take up stunting to a larger extent. Prior to the event, we could hardly see wheelie bars but now its becomming a fashion. Stunting is not a bad activity though but if its practiced on public roads causing public and traffic disturbance then obviously its a menace bring about a shame and thereby reflecting a bad image of all bikers. It is important to note that Stunting may be promoted as a recreational activity, practiced in an authorised environment putting on safety gears and under professional guidance. It can become an entertaintment activity or even a profession for some.

Lately we have also been seing a rise of Rash Motorin by many motorcyclist and drivers as well which is a danger to pedestrians and other motorist especially in the narrow and crowded roads of the town. Perhaps you can refer to this thread quoted from the newspapers on stunting and rash riding issues : http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/143...ers-anvil.html

In addition, there are also many issues where the riders and drivers also needs clarification like the correct interpretation of the "Right signal" where the motorist behind interprets it as "to overtake" thereby leading to accidents. Perhaps the authorities could better enlightened in this matter. Then there are many other road issues too lengthy to be discussed here.

Through this rally we hope to see Shillong a hill-station with bikers and drivers developing a MORE friendly attitude towards the pedestrians, the other motorist and the society at large and to awake more responsiblity on the road. This, we believe, will help in creating a better community.

                Cheers!

Good initiative from meghalayaxBhp ( MXSAC). I believe this is the appropriate way to educate the fellow bikers and the drivers of our state. I wish you all the best and hope it turns out to be fruitful.

thanks guys for the support, we look forward for the success of the event.

Conrad, as you know that SP has restricted to 50 Nos. of bikes only, so we got to make sure that 50-50 percent from RERAM and xBhp is maintained. However, even if exceeds 25 riders, the remaining can be pillions.

50 bikers? that's a considerable large number of motorcycles in one group. Would advice you to split in semi groups. In that way, you will cover more ground and it will be less hassle for the other road users as well to filter through your fleet.

                              all the very best
