xBhp will be turning 12 on the 26th of June. It has been a long journey for the community where a sea change has taken place in how motorcycling is perceived in India. This has been possible thanks to the thousands of xBhpians across the country, who have made the community as strong as it is today. We raise our helmets in thanks to each and every one of you and thank the almighty for keeping us rubber side down for these last 12 years.

All the xBhpians from Ahmedabad and around are invited to join the Ahmedabad chapter meet that is planned on June 28, 2015.

The exact plans and details will be revealed soon...Stay tuned!

The plan for Ahmedabad Meet on the 28th -

Alright, the ride has been decided after yesterday's meet.
The destination is highway food mall (HFM) near Limdi on the Rajkot highway. The destination has been decided as such because no other place will be able to accommodate so many riders and their bikes.
Total ride distance : 200+ kms
Assemble at Iscon Shambhu service lane from 5:30, the ride will start at 6am sharp. There will be a pre ride briefing. Those who are new to group rides or aren't familiar with xbhp group ride rules come early.
Riding gears are compulsory, proper helmet, jacket (or guard set), gloves are mandatory. Even pillion rider are required to have proper protection. No exceptions will be made.
Kindly fuel up and check your motorcycle the previous night.
Multiple groups may be formed depending on the no of riders. Lead and tail riders will be assigned for each group.
This is strictly a xbhp ride and there will be no compromise on the quality of the group ride.
Strictly no stunting or any other monkey antics during the ride. Anyone who attempts shall be sent back. No place for stunting in group rides.
NOTE:
The plans will only change if there is heavy rain. Plan B will be going to gandhinagar only if there is heavy rain which makes group rides risky.

xBhp's 12th Anniversary Ride - Ahmedabad chapter

For many years xBhp's Ahmedabad chapter has been mostly a closely run group with 10 odd people active enough. We've had to turn away many many new riders who refuse to comply with safety standards as prescribed by xBhp. This has been the case for many years.

Not this time though.

The turnout for this ride has been more than satisfactory, even though there were 20 odd motorcycles which pale in comparison with other chapters, it means a lot here as the riding scene here is almost non existent.

But what a turnout, and how ! Everyone arrived in adequate riding gears and rode marvelously during the 200 kms of riding we did on the highways. The groups were split into two, the first group where speeds were higher and the second group which rode at moderate speeds. Both groups had a fun, fast, orderly, incident free ride. This is what xBhp has been meant for, to encourage having fun on motorcycles while also being responsible enough to our fellow road users, even if the favour isn't returned.



People turned up on time, some skipped the sleep even due to excitement.


Group on the left was for the faster bikes which had triple digit cruising speeds. The group on the right had cruising speeds of 80-100. Both groups had a lead and a tail rider to manage the ride.


McDonald's was a savior since not much was open during this time. The staff was overworked by all of our orders, the store manager was happy that his daily target was reached.


It has been a while since a ride around Ahmedabad has seen these many helmets at once


The xBhp cake, enough to sate the initial hunger on reaching the destination


Aditya Shukla and Ajay Yadav rode all the way from Baroda on their Apache RTR 180 abs for the ride and rode back the same day for their first xBhp ride !


The whole group, everyone had a blast while riding !
