Mewar Explore Ride!!

We were 4 bikers from Jaipur on this ride to explore Mewar a bit to recce the area for our future rides. This was a very fruitful ride and sown seeds for many rides. Day one we started from Jaipur to Abu road with lunch being organised at Fort Tana which belongs to a family member. It was hot and we rode around 600 kms. At Abu Road we had a friend waiting for us with his gang. We had a great party and slept late as we had an easy day next with only 100 kms to do.

On way back to Abu Road...almost half way down we again went into offroad exploration and climbed back again all the way up. We were short on fuel supply still we did it and as feared one of the bikes went dry but we managed...



























On the way back we took a detour to explore back roads of Mewar. Beatifull countryside and slick single roads. This fuelled the Monsoon Mewar Sojourn. Will post the pics for that ride too in some days. Here is the link to images from DeeJay of Monsoon Mewar Sojourn

We have no interests in running a thread where members are more interested in showing each other down.

The first KTM DUKE 390 in Jaipur/Rajasthan owned by Virender a member at Flaming Eagles group he also rides along with us. Congrats to him. Rode it a little... its just raw power.

And also Congratulations once again to Samarth who also took the delivery of his 390 last week.

The Gujarat and Maharashtra guys are planning for a Interstate G2G..
Any one interested to join???? Should we host it and make it a tristate G2G??

P.s.- just did a solo ride from jodhpur to Jaipur and i swear roads after beawar are heavenly!! You guys are lucky to have such a great 4 Lane with such picturesque landscape. Plus my tinted visor makes everything sepia, looks beautiful that way.

Our plan is to start riding from Jaipur towards Bikaner, earliest by 6th evening and cover atleast 150 kms or start on 7th around 0400 hrs and reach Kolayat and day 2 we ride to Jaisalmer. Day 3 Tannot and some sites around Jaisalmer and reach Phalodi by late evening. Day 4 Phalodi to Jaipur/Ajmer whatever possible. Roads taken will be the highlight, we are compulsive back road travelers and destinations covered will be offbeat which are not talked about much,

This Sunday, 20th Oct'13 we ride to Pachewar.

It would be more of exploration ride. We meet at Gulab ji opposite Ganpati Plaza at 0530 hrs. Approximate ride distance 200 kms. We return the same day as the ride completes approximately around 1200 hrs

Dudu Backroads

Today we did a small exploratory ride on backroads of Dudu. We were 14 riders in all. We did not find the route interesting as too many villages, loads of traffic and no interesting view or terrain to ride on, but in winters ahead we will definitely find some points of interest and make it exciting.
