even i hv gone der many times...but it wil be a short trip...it wil be around 10- 15mins from kovalam...place is really gud...or else we can try thenmala if everyones interested for a long trip...it wil be around 150kms to and fro...
otherwise der r places like bonacaud, brymore...around 50-60kms frm here...

aaha!!! so our trip served the purpose it cud bring back atleast one sleeping member back into action

AFAIK bonaccaud falls is different route thru vithura and 6km trekking inside forest to reach there

Hi guys..

I'd like to know more details about Brymore and pics if possible too..


Another trip idea.

I've been sitting at home and drooling over our coastline on google maps and I think I may have stumbled upon a crazy ride. It's just a thought and it might just make Independence Day a little special.

The idea of the ride is to keep as close to the shore line as possible. We head from TVM though to Vizhinjam for our first stop at the natural harbour. Take some Pics and then to Poovar via Vizhinjam-Poovar rd.

From Poovar we head south to Thengapatnam... where if I am not mistaken there is a small stretch of beach with a road on it.. maybe do a beach run with our bikes(just a thought, not serious )
In the map I attach here, I can't seem to route it to inside.. some problem
zoom in to see more.

From there to Kolachel and then to Kadiapattanam and then straight to where the Mankudy Lake joins the Sea at Sucheendram. The sat view of this place made me curious and so I decided it to be the destination. if not, Kanyakumari isn't that far.(altho some of our members have been there recently)

And I think this a road less travelled, rather not known. If we have a lot of riders, it will be one hell of a g2g. The one way trip will be around 107kms and this is just the roads, if we take deviations, it will take more. No idea of time.

And to add this, I haven't heard of anyone taking this route.Plus google map labels it as UNKNOWN ROAD hehehe!

If this sounds a lot crazy than an idea you expect, just ignore

Need more on Brymore. Can't get an idea where this is? and what's the see?
