A guy from muthoot called today and said I could have a ready stock of baby15 they have with them and they are waiting for my reply!

But I'm confused between the wait for version 2.0 and this one
Is there any authentic news on the v2, then I could wait
or should I go for this?

As per my opinion, you could have buy R15 long back..But now its seems dated to you just wait for few more days...lots of surprises may come. Why hurry

Phew I thought I told!
I went for booking the new 15 by january and then decided to wait since they put me in dilemma with their "underground infos!"
but then again when i got the call today couldn't resist re-thikning my decision

@nio - if you are waiting, then why not the CBR. Or the upcoming Yammy 250.... lol. Such waits never give u any satisfaction. The R15 has proved itself over and over. I really dont think the wait for just a few cosmetic upgrades is justified.

err that's another concern and it's a biggg one
I can't extend the budget that much and that's a concern for the new version of r15 too since it's rumoured to hit a 1.3 mark
Damn have to calculate so much for taking a bike

Dude....since uve waited long,why dont you jst wait it out some more?
i know "waiting will only keep you waiting" and all those things but jst think abt it..R15 though an incredible machine,its near the end of its time...its due an upgrade.as you can see,the Indian market has taken a step forward...so id suggest,wait for 2-3 months and see whats in store.

to me its a very tricky time to upgrade....
anyway Best of Luck!

hey guys my friend who works for yamaha said its not the 'new'R15 thats been spy spotted around but its the R125 that is coming out...said to be a premium 125 with abt 13-14 bhp power and yeah almost ditto R6 styling and a tenative price tag of 91-93 thousand...

yea..thats correct...its supposed to be releasing by april 17th...and with a price tag of 85k(exshowroom, delhi). the new R125 sports bigger tyres, r6 styled tail, body and very aggressive stance...an R15 killer you could say..(in looks)! but its gonna be having only 14.5bhp..which i think with people like joel around...could be made more fun! so i suggest..you wait..and decide too @Nio!

@remy: I too read about the same but there was no concrete info from any yamaha dealer or yamaha itself!

But I wanted an upgrade and though R125 is killer in looks without performance I think it's not going to be fun in highways and commute!
I hope yamaha wont do such an injustice to r15 by launching a beautiful younger sibling and leave the better performing 15 to be the ugly sister!
If it's all looks and no mettle then I have to look for something which have a better soul with character (engine) than a dump model in victorias secrets(sexy looks)
