RSAC '12 update
Today AJ and JJ had a meeting with the CI of Traffic, TVM North following which there was a meeting today evening also. As per his instructions we'll be inviting the Police Commissioner to venue end point Shangumugham, AC Traffic TVM North and CI Traffic TVM North to Kawdiar palace.
The CI has few guidelines which the participating bikes MUST follow.
1. All riders and pillion if any should wear proper helmet.
2. All bikes should have working headlights, tail lights, indicators
3. All bikes should have BOTH left and right side RVM(Rear View Mirrors).
4. All bikes should have black spots (that reduce glare) on the headlight
Please note point 4. CI particularly asked about this and we assured him every bike will have one during the time of the campaign.

That's a good news. But the spot thing is highly overrated IMO. That rule is not more in effect as well as no official information of making it mandatory is spread through any media by the authorities! AFAIK this was was implemented and later taken down some 10 or 15 years back!Originally posted by lijok View PostToday AJ and JJ had a meeting with the CI of Traffic, TVM North following which there was a meeting today evening also. I suspect if every bike joining for the ride by then, would be able to get this done or know this condition put forward by them.
Welcome to the thread Aniz. I think you are a first from that locality. Also it is not necessary to have a bike to be part of the group. You are always welcome to attend our g2gs and rides.Originally posted by motociclista.8 View PostHi friends, my name is Aniz Iqbal. I'm from Perumathura, Thiruvananthapuram. as per the CI, it was never said that it is no more needed, just not enforced. Whats the big deal.. just a small spot is not going to create any visibility issues...Originally posted by Nio View PostThat's a good news. But the spot thing is highly overrated IMO.
