^^^ thats what even I was wondering.

Well let me put from my side till then. Though being a chilly morning and after coming back to my room from office at 5am. I went to pick up nardev at 7:30am, we reached Dhaba at 8am sharp. Nobody was there, so we decided to go at another dhaba for tea, it was in the same lane. then the other guys came, we all had tea and then waited for few other guys, and left from dhaba in a single line formation to our xBhp HQ.

It was great to meet OF Sir and Vivek Sir after such a long time. the knowledge data these Gentleman have is amazing. When OF Sir and Vivek Sir started discussing the issue which we had, it was amazing. the explanation and the narration from both these experts are simply mind blowing, its described with examples and layman terms which is very good. I am sure all the guys would have enjoiyed it, though I enjoyed it thoroughly and always love these sort of Discussions, and specially with Vivek Sir being there, it was Great.

After the issues were discussed, it was snack time, which was basically a disussion time for all the random thing related to Bikism. It was a great meet, met many new faces which was good. Hope that these sessions happen more often, its very good. Though I dont know why the other riders dont show interests in these type of discussion meets. I used to crave for these knowledge when I started riding in 98, I got some with my own experience and now getting other from these Mentors, Helmets Off to you both SIR. Well everyone has there own interest. But I would thank all the riders who came in for this meet. It was good to see the enthu level in all of you, great going.

Well I enjoyed it a lot, would like to sincerely thank OF Sir and Vivek Sir for sharing there knowledge and experience and teaching us.

First of all thanks to OF sir and Vivek Sir for keeping this discussion. Thanks to everyone who joined. Want to mention that whatever we talked about , it was all well explained and coming from seniors who are well experienced gives us more confidence while riding. The examples quoted were very apt. It was nice and helping in short.
Although I am little shocked, noticing "bikers" preferring something else.

It was a very nice, informative session, where we reaffirmed a lot of things we do, and learnt a lot of new techniques to be safer and quicker on the road - thanks to Vivek sir and the Old Fox! It was great to meet Sandeep sir whose articles are the first thing I read when I lay my hands on a new issue, and to talk and learn about the most important and fun part of motorcycling - the RIDE!! I'm sure we all came out better riders - at least in the head -and will put it to good use and be better on the road too!

Shivanshu, Prateek, Free Sprirt:Thanks a lot guys for the good words. And better than that was the keen interest shown by the entire group present there yesterday morning. Despite the chill and sporadic fog, you people showed up. A disciplined group of bikers is a wonderful sight and seeing everyone geared up properly is so very heartening.

The agenda of the meet was to discuss situational awareness while riding and I was hoping for active participation by all those present. And my hopes did come true. We talked 'biking', questions/experiences/observations et al were explored and discussed and it was a learning experience for everyone. I am aware that I did make a call for the meet at a very short notice and so couldn't bring in any support materiel to add value to the discussion. Things like pictures/videos that show how things ought to/ought not to be done while riding and prompt an exchange of ideas, a slide presentation or two that bolsters the talk both topically and visually. But then there's always next time and there's always room for improvement.

That Vivek Sharma could join us was a true value addition. He is one of those rare riders who is as much at home on tarmac as he is off-road. A very 'hands-on' rider, his explanations are short, succinct and thoroughly practical to apply. I believe we can link up these arm-chair discussions with a few rounds of the 'real' stuff in the coming weeks.

Nothing to be shocked about Prateek. 'Bikers' are people too whose life, like everyone else's, is a sum total of a number of different avenues of interest that demand time out of the same 24 hrs and 7 days.
And in any case I am here to stay and so is motorcycling There's always next time.
I don't let my motorcycles interfere with my motorcycling...

                      A Day Well Spent!!

First of all, my heart felt Thanks to OF sir & Vivek sir, who shared their immense knowledge & experience with us to help us be better riders & be safe as well as keep others around safe too.

It was nice to see fellow riders taking active participation in the discussion & paying keen attention to what was being taught. I'd thank my senior riders as well as my fellow riders for their company, it was great learning with/from you all(& there's still more to go). It was a bit disheartening to see many riders didn't came up for this, this is the kind of knowledge one doesn't gets easily & when the experts themselves speak for one's betterment, this sure becomes a moment not to be left loose.

Some shots I took at the at the XBhp HQ.
This is one office I'd love to work for.

                      All Hail The Angel!!

Only A Handful of riders attended the meet.

                        Lessons To Learn.

I would also thank OF Sir & Vivek sir for their share of experience on motorcycles. OF sir taught us about the concepts of Counter steering in the most layman words, creating situation awareness, solving cornering blues and psycho profiling while riding & building concentration. Vivek sir helped troubleshooting problems faced by many riders on their trip & how to tackle worst case scenarios. It was indeed a memorable session with many a lessons to learn and put into use.

For those who missed the session, I have the discussion on video which I'll be uploading for other to see & learn. Unfortunately the videos are high on file size & I have reached my maximum data limit which is why the upload speed has been reduced, I'll try to convert & upload the video asap.

                        Thank you all.
                        Ride Safe!!
