One more question: How are bikers from other parts of the state (Non ahmedabad residents) planning their trip? Riding to a'bad in morning and riding out by the evening?

Sunny, firstly thanks a lot for approving the thread. Secondly I will personally make sure that there are no stunts in this event.

As far as the safety guidelines are concerned, the best will be done. You have been through Gujarat recently, here people don't even wear a helmet, riding gears is a real novelty. Majority of the members at the moment don't have full Riding gear, we are however working on that. The best we will be able to do is make sure that every biker comes with atleast a Helmet and for those who already have riding gears they are already wearing them full time.

As we had discussed its going to be a painstakingly slow process here in Gujarat as the Infrastructure, Awareness and Culture just don't exist, we don't even have shop in Ahmedabad which stocks proper riding gear. We have to be trend setters, we have to influence and inspire the new members and the younger generation in general to adopt safety gears as part of their lives.


We are not planning any ride just a session where members can get together, get to know each other better as a lot of the non Ahmedabad members communicate mostly over the net without really meeting each other face to face. We will meet have coffee probably lunch and then disperse.

Meeting point and time are not yet finalized so ones that is done we will know how the other members are going arrive.


My suggestion for locations are

2. Vastrapur Lake
3. Zen Cafe - University
4. Shambhu's TGB

Non Ahmedabad members need not worry we will arrange for an escort from the highway

Vastrapur will be a problem as proper parking is an issue there, plus on sundays there is a lot of traffic due to alpha-one. Either of the other three is a good option.
BTW ayazbhai why not get all the members' suggestions and make a poll?

Vastrapur will not be an issue, we have been meeting there since some time and we can arrange parking of the event is started off before 10 AM

I would suggest some place on the outskirts of the city.traffic is a major issue in the city and we need a place with proper parking too...Convenience for everyone needs to be kept in mind.
