Any one riding to Ahmedabad on 6th of April from mumbai/surat/vadodara? I am coming from Pune, so if any company ...would be pleasure , Also as it is first time, not confident about route also

From Surat -ankleshwar-baruch to vadodara I can accompany you but only on the 8th.
Praveen aka kwacker and Janesh will lead thereon to Ahemdabad.

The Plan for 8th of April

There are a lot of guys having a lot of queries about the exact plan for 8th of April Mega G2G, so in order to make things clear for everyone I am posting the Plan here.

9:30 Onwards guys will start to congregate at Shambhu's Coffee Bar outside TGB (The Grand Bhagvati Hotel) on SG Highway.

Lotf of the members are having Exams and we do not want to disturb their schedules too much hence the main meetup and intros will take place here itself. There is a small Certification ceremony as well, some 4-5 certificates to be distributed, which again shall he handed over here itself. It is all going to be a low key affair with no much fan fare and all.

Planning to move forward towards Indroda Park at around 11:00 AM, Indroda is just 30 Km away and will hardly take 30 Minutes to reach. The Group will be broken into smaller groups and will depart to Indroda. Members who have exams or are not able to spare too much time may disperse from TGB Shambhu's itself as that will be a Max of 2 hrs only and hope everyone will be able spare that much time.

At Indroda we roam around in the Nature Park as well as as the Dinosaur Park have Lunch somewhere in G'nagar, preferable at InfoCity and Disperse by Max 3 PM giving outstation guys enough time to reach back home by sunset or there and there about.

We expect each and every member in Gujarat to attend this meetup as its the first opportunity to show our strength and unity, an opportunity for everyone to know each other for the first time and may be even ride along side each other for the first time, though a short ride but a ride none the less.

PS - We are arranging for an Over Night Bunk for OutStation Guys and a small G2G on Saturday night as well. SO GET YOUR ASSES HERE

Ayazbhai why not ride together instead of spliting.
That way we'd be better able to monitor and take care of any unforseen incident. Plus, riding in a big group with garner alotta attention and will in a way help avoid any accidents.

Two Seniors can be the leaders.
Two others can be the sweepers.

We'll be riding in 2 lanes and make maintaining discipline mandatory.

With you around supervising the whole group it'll be much easier otherwise things MAY get outta hand.

Thanks for the suggestion but we are not looking to garner attention. Here in Ahmedabad road users are just so rash and in a hurry that they probably will not want to wait for 50 Bikes to cross before they move. Secondly bikers don't have such a good repo out here, keeping the group small will only help

Riding together will make the idiots on the road aware of our presence and will keep them at bay and thus, in a way, help avert any unnecessary mishaps.

Well it juz my thought. If you feel its better off to ride in smaller groups then so be it.

Still no updates from outstation riders. Please post that who all are coming on saturday night for a night out and who are coming directly to the meeting place.

Nope 8th I would be anyhow already in Ahmedabad
I will be starting at 2:00 am from pune on 6th(Friday)

Anyways any road construction work I should be aware of on Surat - Ahmedabad route except for that silly bridge at bharuch (Always found jam on that in bus though)

Don't think anyone will try to mess with 50 bikes
Not even car owners. Though we might catch few bike bashers attention who might then try to race (I am not complaining, because ain't bothered by these fellows)

Also will try to make it for this meet, but can not confirm, though i won't be requiring night bunk , as my home is in ahmedabad only

Lots of pilgrims going around Gujarat on Foot these days, so all those riding from Outside of Ahmedabad to attend the G2G please make sure you ride safe and are cautious not only of the vehicular traffic but also the pedestrian traffic on the roads.
