The xBhp 9th Anniversary Ride today was a great success today in Delhi! Thanks to everyone who turned and made it a success. Personal thanks to then men who have been long with me personally as well - Sandeep Goswami, Krishnendu Kes, Sunil Gupta, Anurag Ashok, Puneet Mehta, Kulpreet Singh! Special thanks to Jasmeet Chopra and Panasonic Experience Center for supporting us today wit their fantastic 85 inch TV and plethora of other LCDs which ran the Grand Indian Roadtrip Documentary. I was also blown away to see Avatar on a 103 inch LCD in 3D! Thanks to Mini Cooper India and BMW Motarrad India for giving the S1000RR and the K1300S for the ride.

The 9 strong family
Well, today I was just a subtle follower of this 9 strong family, following quitely and closely as we all moved towards the amazing celebration of motorcycling and brotherhood. Surreal, yes, that would be the word if I had to choose any to describe the atmosphere. At one hand where there was the energy of the youth, on the other hand there was the compassionat shoulder of the experienced.
It had been quite long since I last came to any Xbhp occassion, and only I know how difficult it was for me contain myself. Sometimes priorities do get the upper hand over passion, but today, I had to come, and there I was finally, after I don't know how much time. That line up of bikes, that amazing energy, that discussion of motorcycles, that warmth in the atmosphere, everything was back, and how!!
I came there with mixed feelings. At one hand, there was a giggling joy in my heart for finally being able to visit a Xbhp occassion, and at the same time I was missing my motorcycle. I still remember the last occassion I came for group ride like today's. It was World Motorcycle Day ride!! If I close my eyes, I can still hear the thunder, I can still feel the enthusiasm, I can still see the smiles on our faces. Everything was still same, with the only difference of the time, the maturity amongst us and in my case, the situation.
When I joined Xbhp in 2008, I was searching for reviews on the then Pulsar 200. I came acrossed this website named Xbhp and instantly it caught my fancy. The quality of content, the pictures, the forums (even their names) everything made me feel home. It's like four years flashed by in a split second, but in that split second, Xbhp helped me in one way or the other to mature as a biker, as a photographer and above all as a person. I've no qualms in saying that my association with Xbhp, no matter how small, content and reserved it has been, has taught me dream and believe in my dreams that they can become true one day.
So, here's by biggest hug and salute to this amazing family we love to raise our hands in cross and say XBHP!!

...and our family is 9
First of all thanks to xBHP and Sunny Bhaiyya for giving us the identity "xBHPians", not to forget the core team who work 24 x 7 to get the website, magazine etc going.
Have been regular on g2gs for the past 4 years and I still remember all these wonderful years. I feel so great that I have been a part of this family for a long time and will be there whenever this family needs any help.
Today we celebrated xBHP's 9th Birthday although the real date has been missed due to unavoidable circumstances, and trust me the celebration could not have been better.
The ride from dhabha to Panasonic zone was amazing (minus some newbies going mad during the ride) but the overall spirit was worth experiencing. The sight of so many bikers riding in 2 by 2 formation on National Highway is something that Delhi and Gurgaon people are not accustomed to. "Commuters" were clicking us from their cages or making videos, and we also felt good
Special mention and thanks to Jasmeet aka sikhbiker and Panasonic Experience Center for their hospitality.
The screening of RedPlanet documentary along with GIR documentary is a different feeling all together that too watching with biker who follow the same religion.
Honestly I feel proud to be called as prateek2210 , the xbhpian
Thanks to all for this wonderful day
A pic to start, more will follow tomorrow onwards
Fare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world
