Awesome Design Kochu! I could get two shirts if this is the design.

I too didn't like the current design, sadly I noticed it after the registration and payment was made.

Please make this the design!

Let me try to clear your confusion now,


I brought it up here now because:

• In this thread I promised one.
• The current design is mediocre, it doesn't match the class of the event.(personal opinion)
• I was on 1 month bed rest and when I was off I had a pile of work, I just managed it now.
• I have been around for a while, so I thought the organizers will have a proper discussion or will ring me in case of urgency.
• I never knew that T-shirt printing will take so long and it needs lot of time.
• Even though I moved out of the tri-states, I thought I am still very much with you.

Let me have a question:

Why posting a design is so annoying for some fringe of the spectrum when a lot of guys like it?

Guys you all are my friends, if I am late its very much ok, we can't print it.
But If somebody is getting offended when doing something good is so much discourageing.

If I was the one in your shoes I will sound it like this:

"You are very late my friend, We have already started printing. Your design is not bad, ,may be we can consider it next time"

Somehow missed this thread all these days, thanks to Swaroop for the heads up about this ISG2G. I know that the deadline has passed but is there any chance I can join the ride? Missed Munnar on account of my work, cant miss Kodai this time !

Newbies/first timers(ISG2G) :- How is your preparation coming along?

Tips:-
1. During early morning, always warm up the bike before you start and also don't ride at high rpm before you do few kms.
2. Don't carry loose baggage as it tends to slip over period of time. It is advisible to tie them with bungee cords(available at stores) to the bike than carrying as a backpack to avoid sore shoulders.
3. Always carry basic tools, never know when they might come handy.
4. Always have emergency/important contact numbers written in a piece of paper with you as it will back you up when your mobile phone fails.
5. Communication:- Always ask questions and clarify how stupid they might be. Keep your lead or fellow biker informed on your whereabouts.
6. Always carry sufficient cash for fuel for the journey and don't expect all the fuel station to accept the plastic money.
7. Carry some waterproof/plastic covers, just in case you want to protect valuable electronic items like mobile phone/music player/watch/wallet.
8. Keep the spare key along with your baggage for back up.
9. Last but not the least, don't get intimidated by the public. Just ignore and concentrate on the road.

Second that.
1)What are the ride plans and the meeting points.
2)What time are we expected to meet in Kodai.
3)What after we reach Kodai, what next( rest- spend day in hotel.. ice breaker something?/ ride again to somewhere?)
4) Day 2 plans( riding to where ?)
5) Day3 plan - farewell / planned time?

I did not see any information on these items in the thread, not sure if i have missed out. It would be good to share the details if a plan is already chalked out so that everyone has a clear cut idea of the agenda and so we can stick to the schedules. Looking Forward to seeing you all!
