Hey, Man!! Thanks for the write up bro!! Yeah, because of cold I could not flaunt my T-shirt much but I did get a snap clicked in it. I hope LP will post it.Originally posted by prateek2210 View PostJust returned from the G2G. A good gathering on a Sunday cold yet warm morning.
There were quite 20 people I guess. Some new faces were there. OLD FOX sir was also there minus a two wheeler. Addy too preferred the warm blower of the four wheeler.
Met some members whom I haven't met till now Sarab, Indianz Alive and others too.
The center of attraction was Aseem riding Ravi Bhai's ZMA(Angel-eyed).
Shashank(superman) came and vanished. No one can stop him if he is going for off roading.
Rachit, you didn't flaunt your xBhp Tee..next time.
RX da was trying to gather people to discuss some points...though we suggested to post on this forum for more "views"
And yes how can we forget that bhutani(breed i guess) doggie who was constantly barking at us or something...
Sorry no pics as for now...
Thats all we had this morning
P.S- RX da, You have a PM
Waiting for Some less cold weather (Not HOT please) to come so that then I could flaunt it)

WHAT AN AWESOME G2G.... Great. Seeing so many faces @ the Dhaba was just too good. Early morning ride to XBHP lane @08:00 am, Waiting for Sarab & Gurpreet (Ghost Rider) who cam in their AWESOME rides, Apache 160 Fi, Black & yellow respectively, then being joined by Rachit on his ZMA with PERFORMANCE booster exhaust & finally by Aseem, Ashiwini & Another new XBHPIan Ankur on their respective bikes Bajaj Avenger, P180 & Pulsar 180. Then we had a cool ride to the XBHP dhaba. Enjoyed it thoroughly.
At Dhaba I was quite surprised to see so many members!!! Old Fox, Suhail, LP & other seniors gracing the G2G. Rohit, met him after a long time. I guess there were around 25-30 members present !. But many members were missed though
BI, Shivanshu, Kenda, Aryan, B2L, Roger Bhai, Kunjal, Abhishek + others.
Finally, thanking you all for the response !!! Hope to have much larger gatherings in future

I will upload the pics I have taken in a day or two . Sorry for the delay
Tanay: Welcome to Delhi dude! You should have come the G2G & meet some of the members from Delhi ChapterOriginally posted by tanay View PostThis is a sort of comparison between Delhi and Bangalore...in an ownership sense.
In Bangy my daily commute was JP Nagar - Bannerghatta Road - Dairy Circle.
The entire stretch would be crowded even on Sunday afternoons.
Other places I'd visit : Jayanagar, BTM, Basavangudi, Nagarbhavi etc etc, all had the same characteristic: one always felt the need for an empty place...a highway or thereabouts (I know I did)
My average speed in Bangy used to be 40, 60 at best.
Then I shift to Delhi. My parents don't allow me to ride a bike but I took it out a few times on the sly
Lots of roundabouts, great empty stretches, superb, freshly laid tar, sleepy, unconcerned Delhi cops, NO INTERCEPTORS SO FAR ...what a place!
They've really done this place up for the upcoming C'Wealth games.
Which means: Freshly-laid roads!
...and what roads..my house is near the Chanakyapuri embassy area...oho...what roads...I use the 1st to 4th gears only while getting to the main roads and at signals. The rest of the time is spent at >6K rpm in 5th.
Always, while riding, there's an unconscious upshift-attempt to the nonexistent 6th cog...
Now I feel some part of R15 owners enjoyment here...
I wanted to get one. But no $ so I'll stick to this bike.
I keep to speeds of 60-70, which, while being high, seems to be the average speed of everyone else around here. And I remember being overtaken by an electric scooter at the start, while I was still in Bangalore mode.
Now some may say this impression I've formed is location-subjective and not all of Delhi is like that. Well, that's my impression so far.
If I was not freezing I'd try and sneak out more often.
The cheaper price of petrol here is negated by the lower mileage due to high-rpms.
I wish this bike had better handling for those roundabouts...
I still feel the need for a 6th cog...
Delhi is my new home
and the 5th is the new 4th.
