@Razor: Motorcycles can be hired from Karol Bagh area, in Delhi. However, bikes can also be hired from Manali for Leh/ Ladakh trips. Many foreign nationals do the same. However, if your friend is really keen to ride right from Delhi, then he would probably need to check out Karol Bagh bike market for details.
