Generally damdama lake doesn't have water or has very little water. Not sure whats the situation this season.

4. The illegal thing to do: (Was doable 4 years back- no idea now- also not good for bigger groups) While taking the Surajkund road towards badhkal there are a few edu institutions. Just beyond this there is a slight curve on the road before the pali road cut and on your right hand side there is a small gate with a kuchha rasta. If you do cross over(trespassers waala board is there) and follow that kuchha rasta you can witness some amazing lakes formed by the stone mining quarries. I had some pics on orkut. Will post if needed. I won't suggest it for a big group. Just 3 or 4 bikes and be discreet.

those are deep blue lakes on outer Faridabad,,but general Public is not allowed in this area because of recent crime scenes in this area,no tress passing,so we have be carefull if we go thr,,,if we cautch by police they be hard on us.

Its really great to see that everyone is willing to ride. But as some of us noticed while coming back from chattarpur, most of us dont have a clue on how to ride in group.

So My Suggestion is:

We meet and gather at some place, share some information on what to n what not to do while in a group ride.
Ride to a destination say 60-50 kms.
A few experienced member can keep an eye on the rest of the group.
Once we reach the destination the guys noticing the group can tell what mistakes were being made and by whom (Individual Criticism included).
And Im sure we will ride back a little better group riders.

Lets choose a route which includes both straights and turns. Personally I dont care about the destination, its the route that matters to me.

I commutes daily from Suraj Kund road just called my friend in faridabad he said this lake is very deep and he don't know about that is't restricted or not he will let me know tomorrow but its surely is beautiful
I guess that is Bhardwaj Lake and Manger lake which Abhishek has posted

Yup.. those are the ones. I will not suggest this for a big group ride. Maybe you can go there in the broad daylight with a few friends And yes, it is advisable to not stay there for long.

I too have heard some praises of the surajkund... Will surely love to try that route

last time we all friends went to Bhardwaj Lake u can check it in google map and here is the shout cut route to Bhardwaj Lake.


this is the same asola homes road were last sunday xbhpians gone for off roading .no police problem nothing and this route is from jungle u can see some animals too like heran,neelgaye and some more are there we have seen them.
just go straight to asola homes road at the last were road ends u can see broken wall in left side get in to the jungle and go to the lake.

PS : i have PUC too now..yesterday while coming back from dhaba i got my bike's pollution check ..all documents are fine now ..& I am in favor of sudden paper check on G2G's..sometimes we just feel lazy to get these documents of our bikes but by this way we will check n maintain all documents properly..

And so are the expenses, My Dear Friend! (I am in this line talking about Neemrana)

and for the Bhardwaj lake, there is no road for it, Near surajkund there is a lake, I spoke to zayn about it, he says, it would be better for one to go and once see chalk out the route, and then also see the availability of food on the way / route / destination.

Also We can chalk out other options, How about that Sohna Hot water geyser , If we can make an early run, we can reach there early morning!!!

In Pic surely the place looks good for an g2g,but I & RPMboy want to do recce before its official meet for September month as it lies on the way of my daily commute.We should plan 11th sept Sunday should be proposed date as our interested brother will be able to ride along too as decide.

I urge our new members to join in as this is a good start for you all.This Sunday we open the box to group ride to off riding session as said by Rx da & Shivanshu.

Coming Sunday I may be out of station so its tentative for me.
In between other suggestions can be shared too.

This is place is awesome guys, how can a bloody monster do crime at such a nice place. Should we dare to go there?

Yes the place is beautiful,
Its restricted because earlier these lakes where mining pits due to excess of mining water came out of those pits so the pits converted into
Lakes and these lakes are very deep,there is no railing to protect you if you slip and medical facilities are no where near to that place and

the route to these lake is full of thorny plants which can scratch the bike paint and tear the shirt and when returning back one can get lost too due to inaccessibility.
So one has to be very careful in that area.
