After the long endless test drive session that he saw on sunday, he will think 100 times before bringing it again..

But..nonetheles I got to ride it and it is amazing... Loads of power...
I came out with a big after the ride!!!

It was really a PLEASURE riding it, and my sincere thanks to the buddy from Banaras who brought it there and had the heart to give for a ride,to which unfortunately many people weren't even able to start or ride it properly!

Hi,
I had my insurance expired some time back, and have misplaced the document too. So dont have the reference number or watever it is. Called up bajaj allianz today and gave my reg no, chassis no, engine no and everything, but they said they'll call back but didnt.
It was due for the first renewal, so i figure, it being a pulsar, the company provided 1 year insurance would be with bajaj allianz only, (i really don remember )

if anybody could help me in this regard, could try to come for the ride on sunday..

didnt confirm till now coz dint want to bug anybody and tried to get it by myself.. but just a day left... so if anybody can do something..

If your insurance is already expired then you can insure with the other company as well.
Try Health Insurance, Overseas Travel, Home, Motor Car Insurance, Student Insurance for a quick insurance . Its pretty convenient, No paperwork required.

but remember that if you coming for a ride, you got to have your bike insurance by tomorrow.
Its not necessary to go for the same insurance company in the subsequent year.

Yeah!! You can try icici lombard too for online insurance.
U will get the cover note of the insurance at that moment only which is valid for 1 month and the policy will reach your home in around a week.

But i think her renewing before the your existing policy is expired helps.

wat i m still confused wid is ... if the policy has expired ... toh can i not renew it and ask fr the no claim bonus .. or is it lost ..?? coz if it is .. toh i can anyway get it done from icici lombard .. was checking their site today ... premium they calculated for my bike was 1900appx for a complete cover...
but they also have the option of renewal thing .. even if the previous cover was wid some other company .. so should i try to find out the original insurance ref no... or is it of no use now ..??

Just got an update:

Kunjal and abhishek both left for Leh today...reached manali easily but after that reached Rohtang in 6 hours due to heavy rush and traffic, landslides.
after that they reached TANDI and found that the last petrol station is out of petrol...So the plan for LEH got cancelled and they reached till KEYLONG and returned back to manali in the evening.

Hard Luck guys...landslides, unfavourable weather, no petrol...the biker have to be ready for such kind of situation. But they still able to click some beautiful photographs. Atlast Abhishek's wish to ride to rohtang is fulfilled

They will both meet us on sunday morning at KARNAL.

I think if the policy is expired you won't be getting any claim bonus from Bajaj Allianz. The premium calculated I think is n a higher side...I got my premium for around 1000bugs from National Insurance for the 2nd year but your also getting an advantage to get your insurance quickly without any hassles.
So depends on you.

@Rohit: Thanks for the update! But, they could've waited atleast a day or two and see whether there is any hope of getting any fuel from that petrol station, or perhaps from "other sources". A ride to Leh is not something that can be done every alternate month.

Anyhow, I am sure we are in for a wonderful triplog and pictures, soon.
