Road Safety Awareness Campaign 2013 by xBhp Kerala
After a l’l bit delay, here comes the 4th episode of RSAC by xBhp Kerala. After very much delay from our usual February-March it finally happened on May 26, 2013.
Plan: Planning started and dropped many times and at last Anupam Krishna @anupam_busaboy came forward and took the entire headache, along with our beloved Jayamohan chettan made everything happen. We decided to keep the sponsor and keep make it a no-frills-effective program this time and plan-to-event happened real fast.
The Event:
All these years, Prince Aditya Varma used to inaugurate the event in the Kowdiar Palace, unfortunately he was out of town and we had to switch the venue to Manaveeyam, our G2G hangout place. The 2013 episode was inaugurated by Mr. Rakesh Kumar, ex-traffic CI, who has been with us since the beginning of RSAC. RSAC happened with full support from Traffic CI Niyas, whom accompanied us from start to end and gave a great speech about accidents and need for safety, etc.
This year, we limited to pamphlet distribution at important junctions and awareness speeches at Shanghumugham, the end point. Response from the crowd was more positive than last 3 times.
Kudos to all boys whom helped us in anyway and every way, all those came from far far away, all those dedicated their time, funds n enegy, and all those who ran behind the scene. Thanks to Mr. Rakesh Kumar and Niyas for all their support and City Police Traffic Department for helping us with the campaign and providing support vehicles.
Route: Manaveeyam - Vazhuthycaud - Thampanoor - Killippalam - East Fort - Attakkulangara - Eenchakkal - Chacka - Shanghumugham
