So, Shrivardhan it is..!!!! Now, some of us would need to ride to Shrivardhan on either 22nd or 23rd March to book the venue and/or look out for more lodging options at Shrivardhan apart from what @Sanchit Arora suggested.
Therefore, I am planning for a one day round trip of ~360- 400 KM from Thane/ Mumbai to Shrivardhan. I need few volunteers from Mumbai/ Pune who are willing to ride to Shrivardhan on 22 or 23 March. This date would be decided depending on the dates preferred by the volunteers. Don't hesitate to come up thinking this to be your first time. :cheers:.
The task of the volunteers would be as follows:-
1. To memorize the route as of now. Later on, you can guide the folks coming from GJ and KA.
2. After reaching Shrivardhan, look out for various lodging options having ample amount of parking space and talk to hotel Managers for accommodating ~60 folks and negotiate.
3. If any other task strikes your mind then please let us know.
4. At last, if we get some time to spare then we'll............................. hehehehehehehehehhehe
Please PM me if you are interested and are willing to contribute for a successful Interstate G2G. Oh and no last moment cancellations, please..!

With Shrivardhan now almost finalised, time to get hands on the route maps :-)
We have options
One is the Belgaum-Karad-Chiplun-Shrivardhan(670 kms of NH4)
Second is the Belgaum-Kolhapur-Sakharpa-Chiplun-Shrivardhan(600 kms of NH4)
Third is the Satara-Mahabaleshwar-Mahad-Shrivardhan(720 kms of NH4).There is another road called Kaas road(Satara to mahabaleshwar). Any idea on this particular route??
Do we have any other option??
Riders from Maharastra could throw some light on the road and its prevailing conditions.Comment

Sunil Pradhan, Sagar Banergee with respect to your doubts as to covering the distance in a day or longer, bangalore spoc [MENTION=57593]saquib3005[/MENTION] and others shall be overlooking the pre-ride for this very purpose and hence we can break our heads on this after that.
As to the route I would suggest and prefer the Karad-Chiplun-Khed-Shrivardhan
