Going by thread I am also one "senior-most" member.

There was only 2 state G2Gs and "only one" ain't bad.

If Varkala, apart from the last 130 km, there is advantage of 4 lane 90% traffic-free stretch. Taking it off doesn't seem fair.
I didnt pointed you as a 'NOOB' here.

JFYI, There was 3 KG2G happened, Wayand, Wagamon, Munnar.!

christofer, considering other states also , they had to ride 750+ kms to reach that destination. For us, its just some 250+kms.!

Hello everyone, nice initiative Kochu! >>

Why i voted for Wayand because, 2011 KG2G (Later it became a small ISG2G) was held at Wayanad and we missed some familiar places to visit. We could only make up to Pookottu Lake and Banasurasagar dam. So this time more places needs to cover. >>

Phanikar, I empathy with your comment, the reason Dilip and others are commenting on Tintu's name is because Tintu has not attended any local G2G for the past 2-3 years and none are acquainted with him.

    Oh yeah! Our EG2G...

@Kochu, please edit the main post with this. "Participants of ISG2G need to have attended District-wise Pre-run G2G if any are conducted in the District." My reminder since we usually have this formality to avoid rogue entries. Be it for a newbie or a non-active member (who may not be following xBhp ethics now).

@All who have commented and planning to comment, can we stop going out of topic and discuss on the actual topic. Please take the different topics private. Have a nice day.

Yes, there will be a Pre-ride G2G before the main ride, same will be posting after we finalising the dates and destinations.

    2011 - Munnar

I think we should have first voted for the dates actually, but none the less a step in the right direction.

IMHO the 'polling' option on xBhp is not powerful enough, its 2014 we can move polls to another platform, Google forms perhaps? I can cook up a form...

I know we've discussed this before, but this is not the 5th ISG2G the first ISG2G was held in 2008 in Yercaud (I know KL didn't turn up)

EDIT: As nice as Varkala sounds, its also ~700ish Kms from Bangalore & Chennai, considering that xBhpians come in all sizes i.e. 100cc, 150cc, 250cc, 375cc... doing 700 as a large group is not the best of ideas. Not saying its impossible, just don't see the point for what will be a 3 day ride for most people. Also, if the dates selected fall in the rainy season then 700odd kays in a day in a big group is quite improbable.

Praful, just go ahead with a better google form based poll ass you suggested.
We will take down the poll here with immediate effect.

    to all,

Considering the impracticalities of the destination Varkala, I will take that option off the list.

With due respect I didn't sparked anyone, rather suggested the same to others. My post didn't go anywhere haywire.
Wonder why did you thought like that .

Even if Tintu is not active member there is a way to put across your thoughts in the public domain. I'm definitely eager to meet the face behind the handle as I had not seen you in any of the state meets in the last 5 years.
