Dinner G2G Log:

Date: 30th Jan 2009
Time: 8.30Pm
Venue: Roopali, FC Road, Pune.


It all started on 30th Jan itself with niranjan coming up to me and asking whats your plan for the evening, and as usual still no plans for the evening.
So he said we all are meeting at our usual place at FC Road(most of the ppl here would be knowing ) in the evening at around 8 - 8.15pm. I also said ok for that. By that time he convinced all the other guys and informed about the timing and meeting place.

Now, it was around 7.30pm in the evening that Ashish(Andy.rebels) calls me up asks whether he can come with me to FC Road....i oblige for it and ask him to meet at near my office at around 7.55pm. By that time i call up NV and ask him by what time he would be here near our office. As usual "Goli" di that he is busy with some work and he would get late a bit so you both carry on he would directly meet us the meeting point, ab main aage kya bolta....maine bhi keh diya thik hai you catch up with there itself.

So, at around 8.00 Ashish arrives and gives me a miss call....so i pack up my work and leave from my desk and head towards the parking lot. Then, i realise "Damn, fuel to kam lag raha hai "...so on meeting Andy i told him that we need to fuel in first and then proceed towards FC road. We reach by the HP petrol pump in some time and fuel in the bike. In the mean time Andy told "Yaar kitna acha lagta hai na petrol price ka indicator 44 rupees dekh ke....par delhi valo ki to aish hai, unke yahan to petrol is just 40 rupees ". So, finally we set off from there and realise thats the peak traffic time that we are out in when the Damn traffic is on its peak, on some of the redlights here in pune litrally there isnt enough space to even move a bit, our bike moves like a snail on road... . There's one signal at shivaji nagar which is for 2 mins, so i mentioned to Andy that "Damn yaar, ab humko 2 mins ke liye yehi pe rukna padega...to he said that.....wtf... you know the signal timing too...!! "

So, finally with all the hassles and "maara maari" by around 8.30pm we reached Roopali and found Ritwik(ritwik23) and Satyajit(nitrosatya) already waiting for us there. Had a small chit-chat leg pulling session there, in the mean time people kept on joining in. I remember one instance that i called up Alok(Inflammable) and told him "Tu kab aa raha hai"...to my surprise he said "Kaun bol raha hai....aur main kahi nahi aa raha hu"...!!! Then i told that Bugger that i am Inder speaking...fir kehta ohh haan haan Inder....bol bol....main bas 15-20 mins mein pahunch raha hu..!!!

Then, the icing on the cake...Ritwik got a call from Tushar(beastrider) in the mean time...he didnt realise who it was...he just told the way to the roopali restaurant !! So, when the conversation was over ritwik came to us and we asked whos call was it he told "Pata nahi yaar....i cudn't understand whose voice was it as there was a lot of noise coming"..!!!!! We all were just laughing out loud after this
