Ride to Nighoj and back.....

Sunday ride to Nighoj & Morachi Chincholi and back......

Date- 5th Feb 2012
Distance one way- Round about 120kms
Departure time- 6:30am
Meeting Point- Outside Phoenix Marketcity
All riding gear mandatory & group riding ettiquettes must be followed.....


Description- Nighoj- A beautiful place, natures creation from a thousand years of handwork. It's a place to be for a shutterbug, and if you love checking out what nature has to offer, then you'll love it. A riverbed full of ravines, potholes, little waterfalls here and there(plenty if them is what I hear), some deep gorges, a temple nearby to offer shade and of course the ride to the place. Peaceful, calm and serene, yes that's what this place is!
Morachi Chincholi- The name ideally says Peacocks and tamarind trees I guess, both of which are in abundance here. An ideal place for the nature lovers, capture the national bird with your lens etc. The best time to be here is winter apparently and the best time to see the peacocks is either early in the morning or after 4pm in the evening.

The plan is to spend the morning at nighoj, then lunch, rest a little while and move on to Morachi Chincholi to spot the National Bird. Will be fun for sure.........

Good to see that the exchange of heavy artillery between Eshan and Shrinath is over.

Our time together in this world is too short and our friendship too precious to allow either to be vitiated due to such conflicts.

Hats off to both you guys for burying the hatchet.

Now, have the next G2G at some bar and each drink to the others apology, like men (errr, Eshan, what is the permissible age for alcohol consumption in Mah, sorry, could not resist that one, really) and have a big one on my behalf.

I could not come for a single ride with you as I did not have my gear with me in Pune. But after my Leh trip, it will be in Pune so that whenever I am on leave, I can join our G2G's fantastic trips.

How did my name get into the tentative list?

I was at CC at 530 in the morn.. Was riding around, saw a comet 250 and a bullet standing around so I enquired and learned that they were off to lavasa and the comet guy was leading the group..
