People may hav difficulty understanding single vote rule but dont worry their vote goes to mejority considering they dont prefer any one perticular place/day.

The route seems interesting and so does the location.

A colleague of mine stays 5kms before Bhigwan, he stated them to be worst currently because of construction and road widening. Major traffic diversion is present also some railway crossing to intervene the traffic around 6-8am. Also location of this crossing is around 25kms before Bhigwan....
Iam bit concerned about roads, may expect traffic and potholed route since the Highway is under construction..

You are right! I went there last year. I don't know the latest road conditions but last year it wasn't so encouraging.

Mumbai Xbhpians are planning to come at kamshet on this saturday to watch full lunar eclipse so i was thinking anyone game for the same.

Well guss that'll be a good experience. But I'd recommend going to Tel Baila, camp and come back. It's a beautiful place there, and you'll love it.


P.S.- I'm in Pune for a little more than two weeks, came here on friday, so the point, dots anyone have a spyware bike that I could use?????

Excellent plan! But we do not know Moon's location in the sky after 6PM and if it happens to be behind TelBaila Walls, it would be a disappointment especially to photographers. As far as remember the temple is in the TelBaila village at the base of the walls and walls obstruct westside view. (Walls face due east). Please suggest!

I chose this place (slope of hell) as it sits high above the surrounding structures giving unhindered view of horizon in all four directions and also has road access all the way till top (we can skip the last slope and park our bikes near the railings). Its really a nice place to observe stars and planets given its location away from both the cities pune and mumbai !

it doesn't involve any trek. We can take our rides right upto the temple. Enthu ppl come here for rock climbing and we have no such intensions. However, those 2 huge walls should not obstruct the view during eclipse as we'll be sitting/sleeping near temple....

Hi, we will be meeting this saturday.plan is as follows.

8 to 8.3
Pm - OYM contest.
8.30 onwards- screening to 'Faster' and then G2G poll discussion.next ride planning.
As srinath is going for eclipse ride. His presentation will be held on next G2G.

Day/Date : Saturday/ 10th Dec.

Time : 8pm

Venue : The Moto Cafe.
Nice plan to watch eclipse guys.

There was no presentation planned as such formally, it was just a discussion based on view/sight and braking. There are xbhp links which you can always refer as i was also gonna discuss on same topics.

By the way how many presentations have happened where soft copy is not made for the same and if in case i prepare i will share with all of them when i give my presentation in any g2gs which i will inform our g2g baba.
