A question to the knowledgeable people here.
Got the following specifications from the Kawasaki Indonesia website for the FI 2013 N250. Link :Kawasaki Motor Indonesia
Though in different languages its easy to interpret the details. Seems the new N250 has reduced power and torque by 1 PS and 1 Nm respectively. Also 2012 N250 delivered 22Nm torque at 8200 Rpm. The 2013 delivers max torque 21Nm at 10000 Rpm. Doesn't it mean there will be lesser torque at low and mid range rpm in 2013 version? Or am I going wrong somewhere?

Though I am not a knowledgeable person, your interpretation seems to be right. However,I seriously doubt that the specs would be correct. A power spread between 10 & 11,000 rpm i.e. in a range of only 1000 rpm is difficult to access.

I had a sudden urge to ride last month. I could suppress it for just 15days. After that, I rode alone to Leh. Will that plan be alright with you ?? Or did you have anything else in mind?

Long ride to coming weekend

Hi All,

Next week Monday (27th August) I have a off at work and hence planning for a long ride (Sat - Mon). Is any one else interested.

When riding from Mumbai to Pune on 19-Aug (Sunday), I witnessed several bikers (riding responsibly) in the direction of Pune-Mumbai somewhere near Khopoli or so (can't remember where) around 3:45 PM.

I was on my Red CBR with black tail bag; wondering if they were xBhpian

It has been precisely i-don't-know-how-long since i posted here.. But i come with great tidings of an awesome ride! Or not depending on your tastes.

Here's the route. A little exploring between C and D so i can't guarantee good tarmac but we're not looking for that anyway.

We'll leave from Chandani Chowk at 6am sharp on 26th August and yes that's a Sunday. The riding gear mentioned on the first page is mandatory. You can contact RohitLC if you're missing some gear.

The road between C and D is good. Atleast were good last year. And they were fresh - so I can hope that it will be decently rideable tarmac this year.

Have added my name to the tentative list. Will confirm in a day or two. Need to get my motorbike serviced.
