I was searching around for a decent helmet with international certification (for a friend). He settled on LS2. However, while snooping around the website, something did not feel right. So I started digging.

Please observe one funny thing in the website -LS2 Helmets, contact of Laxmi Automobiles is mentioned but if you click on the shops tab of the site, even the country 'India' is not listed. How is that possible?

All guys who believe that www.ls2helmets.in is company owned website, please see this - ls2helmets.in Whois Lookup & IP | Whois.net.

You can get confirmation that this website is owned by Mr. Anil Gupta of 376/377 nana peth pune 411002. It is the address of Laxmi Auto. It is NOT a website of company.

Link to LS2 Philippines show you an address of Spain as local contact :-)

Now decide whether the LS2 helmets available in India are genuine or not.

In fact the helmets sold by laxmi and pro biker spares also are issue out of pune as faced by me and worst of it the LS2 which i came across once you remove the inside guards for wash and try refitting its an hell, but was wondering even cross is sold through same shop but it doesnt have that much duplicacy and other issues.

New Location : Coffee shop next to Yamaha Factory Shop, Wakdewadi on Old Pune-Mumbai Highway. This location is opposite KTM wakdewadi showroom.


No... I am not talking about Coffee shop located next to Rajyog Hall. This is a Pavbhaji stall located on main highway next to YFS.


This is a trial. If everyone feels that this suits our requirement, we can hold future G2G at this location.

I guess you talking where all the volvos stop next to hero honda showroom, though parking is a headache but place can accomodate a large amount of riders. Will try to reach on time

I know I haven't attended much g2g's to be called a xbhp Pune member its due to my college and also due to I couldn't make it on time, but I would still keep active participation on this forum and Facebook page and looking forward to attend upcoming g2g's, but I could at least attend g2g's when it was at grubshup but now since its closed and g2g moved to some other location it would be really difficult for me to attend any further g2g if it's somewhere far from FC road since my college is at solhapur highway it would be difficult for me travel, I would just like you to consider some place around FC road if possible.

I started digging into the sites that you've mentioned. So I started by the original site first.



There is a LS2 link. If you click on that link you'll be redirected to a page where you need to choose the country based on the geographical location.



I choose Asia>India and I was redirected to LS2 Helmets.



There the contact is Laxmi Automobiles.



But when I tried to check the shops section, there are only 4 countries listed, which I guess is not updated correctly as LS2 has their presence in various countries, including India, as mentioned in the Network page of the MHR site.





Now I tried to connect to www.ls2helmets.in which inturn redirectedme to Laxmi Automobiles - Authorised Distributors for LS2 Products in India. I guess the www.ls2helmets.in URL is masked with the Laxmi Automobiles - Authorised Distributors for LS2 Products in India URL. So because of this masking, the URL is showing as owned by Mr. Anil Gupta.

These are all my findings and I am really confused.

P.S: I am not anyway linked to Laxmi Automobiles and in any terms. I just want to know what is the exact scene here as most of us pay a lot of money for good helmets. And if those are duplicate then we have to or should sue them together.

Correct. Not being a technie, I don't understand the jargon much. But know for sure that any decently sized company would have own website and not one owned by a distributor. Secondly, it should at least manage to display correct country. Not when you click on Link to LS2 Philippines show it you an address of Spain as local contact.

These are all my findings and I am really confused.
