I am new to this forum.. Been in Pune since last two years.. My name is Lalkrishna.. I am from Kerala.. Staying in Pune, Hinjewadi phase 3 area, since August '13..

I didn't had a ride when I came here.. I own a ZMA R 2007 model since August last year, bought it second hand.. Never been to any other forum or groups though.. This is my first post here.. I have been doing some road trips with my friends 2-3 times, Aurangabad, Alibag, Lavasa.. And some solo riding in and around the city.. I am a riding enthusiast... I would like to be a part of this brotherhood of xBhpians..

Could anyone please tell me how to be part of xBhp Pune?? How to join the xbhp riders to join for the weekend rides?

help needed...

Do anyone of you have idea which mechanic is best for tvs apache rtr 160 in pune.Svc guys are so irritating that they dont do much work and hand me the bike with washing.recently i gone to tvs svc,they suddenly told me that you bikes engine work is more.they told me approximate 10k for it.any idea for good mechanic ???? thanks

As L.k and many newbies like.myself had queries about the forum just to let you guys know that there are regular g2g that happens and you just have to attend it to get the updates about the ride planned . I have just attended a g2g once in the year 2009 and have met turstvishwas sir and most of the senior me members , they are the one of the best lot that you can be around to know and learn more about biking or riding perhaps . I ho through travelouges and ownership reviews whenever I get time and must say this xbhp community has many things that someone can learn from .

Office is a the only thing that interfere with the g2g for most of us. Please update if there are any rides planned .

Does anyone know abt a place where I can get alloy wheels for Thunderbird 350 (new model) in Pune. Yeah, I know abt Nana peth but the ONLY condition is that Card payment option should be available....

Pls reply ASAP.... also pls suggest some good tubeless tyres for T'bird...
Priority should be as:
1. Good grip on road even in wet conditions...
2. Should be good quality. The stock ones (MRF) are pathetic if considering puncture frequency....
3. Durability...

No one knows me on Pune thread, So Let me introduce myself...

Sourabh Katikar, Married IT Professional, An avid biker and been a member since 2009. I was in Delhi for a while and was a regular to Delhi G2G's and rides every week... before moving around for official projects around the civilized part of the world. Since 2014 I am back and have been busy with life (got a wife and a baby since..) now that I am getting time from my schedule I have got myself riding again and upgraded my bike from a Bajaj Pulsar 220 F (DTSi) to a Benelli 600 GT...

Looking to join the road warriors here to rediscover the passion which was fading away from my Day to day life. I read the G2G's happen every wednesday in FC road.. Is there enough parking spaces for the bikes? what about Sunday Rides?

Just wanted to walk in and give a hat tip to everyone here.. I Hope the gang in Pune is as happening as the Delhi gang!

I have ought a preworshipped R15 from Thane and have the NOC addressed to Pune rto.
For transfer of ownership, what can I show as an address proof?
Their seems to be some issue with the regular rental agreement where they are not accepting the same.

Pls advice.

THere are two types of rental aggrement-Notary and registered.RTO will not accept the former.

Planning a road trip from Pune to Banglore

Hi All,

I am planning a road trip from Pune to Bangalore and back on my Yamaha Fazer mostly next week. This will be my first solo trip and by far the longest one on my bike. There are few things in my mind and wanted your suggestions on them.

1. Is is achievable on my bike.
2. What are the most important things that I should carry along.
3. How safe is it to travel.
4. How long will be the journey approximately.
5. Are there any good places to stay in case I decide on a stopover.

These are a few things own my mind as I am typing. Please do let me know more if I have missed on anything important. Looking forward for you response. Thank you in advance.

HiYamaha Fazer is tourer so it is possible for you to travel imo .The approx time to reach banglore if weather gods are on your side and it doesnt rain is 12 hors bl.Please do carry a good jacket and gloves depending on your comfort. Yes do carry bungee cords if at all you are carrying a back pack or else saddle bags are ample in the market hope you have one.Carry your documets and rides documents and keep it somewhere safe and away rom rain .Get your bike serviced and change the engine oil only if u havent done it recently . I have no idea abou the place to stay there sorry but yes you can always use internet ofcourse it saves most of us when needed. And the right time to start the joirney wouls be the first rays of the sun .Wish a safe and sound ride Ot lz do carry a good camera and treat us with some awesome pics.All the above suggestions are solely by a guy who has done 450kms eound trip max hope it helps Regards Jeet

Have a pleasant trip and do treat with a lot of pics and experience..
I also am looking forward to a road trip for 15th and 16th of August, to Nashik. Not a solo ride. We would be about 10 guys as for now decided for the trip. All are my colleagues from my office. More might pour in depending on their availability on the days after office work. First priority is Sula vineyard. Haven't heard much about other places to visit there. All ideas comes as we go. If anyone from Pune has happened to go there and spent a night in Nashik, could anyone please advise on a good place to stay for the night? We are currently expecting a total of 12guys and 6-7 bikes. Also, suggestions for places to see around is heartily welcomed.
Also advise on the items for the checklist that needs to be done before riding in a group, like [MENTION=50365]jeetg[/MENTION] has mentioned about the papers, thanks to him for his share.

It has been quite a long time since xBhp-Pune group ride has happened.

Although many of us are riding individually or with smaller groups, but an official xBhp ride was missing from a long time.

So we have planned a ride to Smilestone Cafe(on Nagar road) and Suzlon Windmill farm on 13th September'2015.

The event will be created in 'xBhp Pune G2Gs' Facebook page.
