Hello All

No one knows me on Pune thread, So Let me introduce myself...

Sourabh Katikar, Married IT Professional, An avid biker and been a member since 2009. I was in Delhi for a while and was a regular to Delhi G2G's and rides every week... before moving around for official projects around the civilized part of the world. Since 2014 I am back and have been busy with life (got a wife and a baby since..) now that I am getting time from my schedule I have got myself riding again and upgraded my bike from a Bajaj Pulsar 220 F (DTSi) to a Benelli 600 GT...

Looking to join the road warriors here to rediscover the passion which was fading away from my Day to day life. I read the G2G's happen every wednesday in FC road.. Is there enough parking spaces for the bikes? what about Sunday Rides?

Just wanted to walk in and give a hat tip to everyone here.. I Hope the gang in Pune is as happening as the Delhi gang!

Returning to this thread after ages. I see a lot of new members here. Good to see new faces.
We still having rides? Where do you guys meet for G2G's? What's the riding schedule like?

Yes, the RTO takes a hell lot of time to send the RC. Mine took almost 6-7 months. Till you don't get it, you can ride with a copy of your tax invoice and insurance.

I want to join week end rides, but dont have RC book.
Its 70 days since bike purchase still RC book not received.
Is it safe to travel with road TAX receipt instead of RC book?

Showroom saying it could take 4 months. Is it true?

Yes, the RTO takes a hell lot of time to send the RC. Mine took almost 6-7 months. Till you don't get it, you can ride with a copy of your tax invoice and insurance.

Due to recent landslides in Malshej and Lonavala ghats, postponed my plan of Malshej ride. Instead I am doing the Pune - Varandha - Poladpur - Mahabaleshwar - Pune circuit this weekend. If anyone had done this route recently, please update on road condition.

Not much rain. Road is not good in some patches. But mostly ok. We failed click photos when we passed through the misty beauty of Malshej.

But we were few proper rains earlier to this location.

Okay. Thanks. I will be doing the Naneghat - Malshej - Murbad - Lonavala - Pune circuit. Hopefully there will be heavy rains by next weekend. Heard that NH222 becomes too beautiful in rains.

Need a mechanic for CBR 400 rr sportsbike in pune

I recently moved from Bangalore to pune. My cbr 400 rr is having some issues with the carburettor and also i broke the side fairing. had parked it wrong and someone dropped it on one side. Now i need a mechanic and someone who can provide me with new as well as old spares. because its pretty old
Does anyone know who does it best?
In pune and where?
