Hello everyone,

The PUNE-MUMBAI G2g was great but also i would sincerely request you all to please avoid putting the cake snaps on the face book or public forums. As whoever has wrote the word DOG on the cake has shown the cheapest mentality of himself and frankly i have not liked it, and on FB i have lot of my family friends too.

I am Gaurav and a bike riding enthusiasts like all of you,,,but definitely with SOME miles to catch on.

It's been a few days, since, I am following your threads and I would like to congratulate everyone of you for running such an awesome community.

I would definitely like to join you and have the adrenalin rushing, but before that, I would like to have basic info on the Riding gear i.e. where/what/which brand to buy in Pune & what would be the estimated expenditure, assuming I need the basic entry level stuff..

Probably, It may take a few days more before I start riding with you guys, but I would like to be an active member down the line.(Sounds kinda What the hell he is Talking!!!)

1. I own a White Coloured HH Karizma ZMR.
2. Stay In Aundh, Pune.
3. Belong to Indore.
4. Ride I wish to own: Yamaha YZF-R1

Minimum Gears required for a safe ride:
A good helmet (which would keep you safe ffrom any crash)
Arm and Knee Guards (Preferably go for Cramster/Axo else you can also go for Fox knee guards)
Riding Jacket (any with padding to protect your body)
Good boots to protect your feet.
Hard Knuckled Gloves.

A rather freak incident happened in front of me today..
On route to office, I have to enter the nh-4 from chandni-chowk uptill vadgaon. When i entered the nh-4, a drunk rider hit the bike from behind. After a minor argument, he rode on. I wanted to stop him(since he was drunk), but for some reason, I didnt. I later noticed that he wasnt able to ride properly and was swaying on the road. just as I was thinking of stopping him, he skidded on the road and stopped just feets short of the road side guarding rails. I helped this bugger to get up. but I am not wondering if I did the right thing in getting him on the feet. I mean i know its good to help a guy just crashed but this bugger might crash again and this time, he might not be so lucky. but, after getting him on his feet, I had called up 100 regarding this but the response was we will send some at the site urgently. but even after good 20 mins, there was no one. tillthis tie, i had asked the rider to take some rest but now, I was getting way too late for work so I left.
I hope that the police arrived on time. or if they didnt, I hope the rider reached home without any more incidents.
but I am still thinking of should have I helped him get up! i Mean, if he does coare for his life, why should I?

Its sad to see man that such a pathetic feeling you give to your fellow rider that too on his birthday, If someone was not happy with me coming on the ride he could have told me straight away i would have not joined for the ride.

its rather strange, but there are 2 extreme reasons for this
1) maybe cos people have a lot of crush on me! and hence keep crashing when i am arround..
2) it could also be that they just dont like me so they think its better to crash and get rid of me! lol....

In the last camping g2g,at pavana, when we were returning, a rider on unicorn almost crashed into surojit. I was behind suro. the height of the situation was that after barely missing suro by a couple of inches, he took out a bottle of beer and took a sip.. I wanted to punch him in the face but simply rode away, not wanting to create a scene.
I mean if these guys do get the kicks in riding while drinking, why do they put our lives at risk?
If they wanna drink and ride, do it when there is no one arround (though its illegal). atleast they wont be endangering someone else!

I agree but breather pipe is still better than putting some one in animals category and my brother there is a big difference between dog and dog killer.

Regarding drinks you can tell me anytime, i wont mind today also after all MOTO CAFE serves lot of drinks
