Me and Beruoist returned back from the Rann of Kutch ride yesterday 0200am safe and sound.We covered Rann of Kutch, Nal Sarovar Birds Sanctuary and Daman& Diu on the way. It was an amazing experience.

If I knew, you guys are going for birdwatching, I would have made it.

Hoping to see all people who did touring in this season and elaborate their experiences and problems they faced in this season touring.

There is nothing like problem once on tour, what you are talking about is part and parcel of travelling which one should not analyse too much.

Need some help guys. My mom and granny will be going to Tuljapur on a two day pilgrimage tour by bus. I searched on the internet for good, safe accommodation and found these two options. Shri lodge and Darshan lodge. I am also going to contact MTDC for accommodation tomorrow. Apart from these can anyone suggest me good and affordable accommodation options there? Has anyone been there recently?

Your best bet is MTDC. You can be rest assured the place n stuff would be good mate. Been there, done that \m/(-_-)\m/.

Nice meeting yesterday. My time in Pune is short - I would be out sometime in mid May - so shall try to make it for as many meetings and rides as possible.

Rishabh, thanks for the CROSS visor lead. I plan to follow it up today.

One tech question, guys. My ride - Pulsar 150 classic (the very first model) has a 14 teeth/ 2 hole front sprocket. As a result, she revvs to about 6000 to 6800 rpm if I need to maintain about 70 kph. I want a 16 teeth, 2 hole front sprocket which can fit directly w/o any mods. Can any member give me some tips as to which other bike's part will fit?

Waiting eagerly for my CBR 250.

so you managed to find them yesterday Where were they? At Vaishali or Roopali?

Sunday ride to Kas lake near satara

One way distance : approx 120 kms
Date : 10.4.2011 Sunday
Meeting Point : Chandni Chowk
Reaching Time : 5.45 am
Departure Time : 6.00 am sharp


Usual Ride rules

Documents
a. Valid Driving License: MUST have and carry at all times
b. Bike Registration Papers: Original or Attested Photocopy
c. Bike Tax Certificate: Original or Attested Photocopy
d. Bike Insurance: Preferably a comprehensive insurance, personal insurance would be a plus.
e. PUC Certificate: A valid PUC certificate; especially if touring along with the group to pollution sensitive/monitored areas.

Safety Gear
a. Helmet: Has to be in good condition and preferably ISI/DOT certified
b. Riding Jacket or a thick jacket and elbow guards
c. Gloves: Must cover vital points like knuckles and wrist. Cut/half gloves not allowed
d. Knee Guards: Either bionic or regular flex type. Should be worn inside trousers if non bionic.
e. Riding Boots/Sports Shoes/Army Boots: Anything that covers the foot well.
