Is the road to Sinhagad now open to vehicular traffic ?? ... AFAIK It was closed for repairs few months back ... can some one please update ?

The road repairs are not complete but road is open for vehicular traffic with all sorts of traffic jams. I strongly advice to avoid Sinhgad on weekends.

Ride to Ahupe.

@Krishna: All the scenic spots would require trekking na for Ahupe ride, rite?

There's no trekking required, but we may have to walk some bit for the scenic points, not too much though, I understand Madhe ghat is also good, and so is Amba ghat as suggested by Antz. But I guess Ahupe would be more fun as there won't be any traffic, great views to compliment and total peace and serenity around. We could do the 8th Anniversary ride on Sunday then, also inviting the Mumbaikars. What says?

@shrinath- This is what i was pointing that day but as you know i got a strict reply regarding reading of content provided precisely, correctly and other thing which iam too lazy to look back two posts....

Meeting point Chandni Chowk 6.45 PM (max waiting will be till be 7pm if not reached see you on way back)

Reach lavasa and start back around 8.45 or 9pm max.

Have Dinner on the way back..

There was a difference in what you posted and in what i posted dude, read again.

Count me as tentative and i would prefer lavasa ride on saturday morning instead of friday evening as you know R15 stock head lights are very powerful and may blind you people.
