Mate when they are there .. u will surely have the link .. as of now they are cooling off in my camera ... and laptop respectively.

Wrists and Back are all fine, DAMN i need better touring luggage with the kind of weight i am used to carrying in my bag.

Tragedy stuck last night on way back when a shampoo bottle cracked in my touring bag ... and the fluid seeped into all my stuff including laptop and camera..

Rest assured the data lies in safe place... tough it has the potential to damage my keyboard which I'll only investigate after going home.

What is this people? Posting an OT reply/ post and writing 'Sorry for the OT' at the end of it all is not done.

Please stop the OTs right now!

                  • @ Aryan , B2L , RX100 , Bandhav, C_sbk, Ravi bhai :- We missed you guys in the Trip...it would have been so much more fun...agar aap log hote

                    @ Aryan , B2L :-

Thanks a ton for those valuable pieces of advise that you had given us, we made it a point to stick to the points specially those 2x2 formation not working in the hills and adequate spacing between the riders and use of hand signals...

Also Moving in 2nd -3 rd gears with sparing use of Clutch was the ideal method of moving in the hills... thanks u L.P. for teaching me this...

                              • Day 1

Soo, here it goes. For me, it was the longest journey ever on Bike
All the planning started at Karnal GTG. The sheer enthusiasms of all mates lead to the success for this 800km journey and I was well prepared to join in for the same. Friday I was all prepared and wrote whatever I had to take for the trip and learned the concept of tying bungee cords from LP. Friday night all my sleep went away...Dunno why but still managed to get some sleep.
Got ready and left my home at 2.45 am. Met the east delhi group at T point sarai kale kha and met others at monastery. Finally, started at 4am sharp. I thought that driving at night is kind of a tough job but due to less traffic on the opposite lane(which is the main problem), the visibility was good.

Just inhaling early morning air and going at a good speed went off till panipat…met the fellow mates and continued till Jhilmil dhaba at karnal…had tea..coffee…parantha..butter..lassi…and lastly the Bill.

I was the accountant for the whole trip and took the responsibility of the money.
Went ahead continuously till zirakpur CCD..Guys took a break to refresh themselves and kept their arses on the soft sofas over there and loads of coffees with a good amount of bill and discount of 10% Here, we met amit and prakhar. Now we 17 bikers all ready to ride the hills. Amit and prakhar gave us all the tips and answered all the queries regarding the Hills….roads…driving…overtaking….to be patient…leans..Bends..etc.

So, the hills started…80kms of hills to be covered while I was still gaining confidence to ride on hills. Atlast, after 30kms I was absolutely enjoying riding over there…taking turns after turns…leaning and bending but at my controlled speed and let anyone faster than me to overtake. But riding behind Amit was fantabulous. His balance on bike…the leans and bends…braking was just awesome and somewhat entertaining as well.

Once the confidence built up…now the road from kandaghat to chail was just opposite...narrow…sand…stones everywhere.

I rode it very safely and ensured to see the road carefully. Finally, we arrived at Chail and all of them were hungry…real hungry.

And we found the hotel and started ordering. Had our tummies full and again the planning for the next trip began. Manali…Leh…binsar…dharamsala…
                                Again a long bill of 1700rs. With 77 chapatis..hehe

majority planned to ride to Shimla and it was 5pm. We began and encountered a bad stretch of road…the expectation of a good road was just nowhere.

At 6.30,we switched on our headlights and kept moving and entered shimla at 7.30. Checked in the hotel and refreshed ourselves and planned for the dinner.
We went to mall road which was half closed due to late hours but still spent sometime over there…ordered the food…some coke bottles and went to the hotel while gossiping about bikes and biking.
We all gathered in one room and opened the packed dinner…yum yum
Chicken tikka…paneer tikka…roasted chicken…rotis…paneer bhurji…butter chicken…dal and finally a sweet dish: Gulab Jamun. Had very long and loud chat sessions…gained lot of info on bikes. Here, no one was inferior to any other person. All were equally the same. Soon, one by one people started moving their allotted rooms with some tired eyes and a cozy blanket in mind.

The day went really well. Formation rides, sanely riding, keeping the group together, head counting at some interval of time and all contributed in it. Beautiful sceneries, valleys, roads, turns, food, photos, bikes are still revolving around my mind and all these things kept me refreshed throughout the whole ride which did not let me down for the whole trip.
                                its all about CC...
