            • @dcs: The last time the group rode to Chail, no1livesforever was on the Baleno, in which almost all of us kept our belongings. That way we were 'free' to ride, if you know what I mean.

Why not use the resouces when it is there? That's my 'mantra', my friend!

I'd rather be riding my motorcycle thinking about God than sitting in church thinking about my motorcycle.
Ride often, ride well, have fun.

Although I am not as experienced as the person in question (B2L ), according to me more than the 'things you need to carry', you all need to be disciplined because in the hills there is absolutely no room for ANY error. You won't get second chances!

I am not too sure how many of the riders who would be riding to Chail have ridden to the hills IN A GROUP, but group discipline is the most important factor when one is not riding solo. No overtaking from the wrong sides, no 'competitive' riding, no abrupt maneuvers, no sudden acceleration/ braking, etc. are just some of the points to be followed.

Moreover, truckers/ bus drivers in the hills are much more civilized than the drivers in the plains. You just need to probably flash the headlights of your bikes or honk a couple of times and they give pass! It's a nice gesture if you just wave towards them once they actually do give you pass! [just a point I thought I must mention]

As for the 'things to carry', the regular tool-kit, plus may be a tube or two for the guys who are riding on tube-type tyres. That is all that's really required, trust me. Just enjoy the ride.

Remember, each one of you should maintain your own riding discipline, and the group as a whole would be just fine.

                          Ride safe!
